Teddy's been down in the bar, talking to people and being mutually confused about what, exactly, is going on tonight. It's been amusing at any rate. But even young ~~avengers~~ pirates need to eat something occasionally.

He's eating a hamburger loaded with toppings, while wearing traditional pirate attire: brown almost-breeches, boots, a breezy white shirt, and a tri-corner hat. Also, Ananda-parrot, purple and pretty on his shoulder, is glaring around at the bar, watching out for her Somebody.

Completely botherable.

There's a small blonde child looking up at him as he eats. Or more importantly, looking at Ananda-parrot.

Fascinating. "Pweetty!" She makes grabby hands for it.

(Somewhere in the bar, the little girls' mother is going OH KRIFF OH KRIFF KRIFF KRIFF WHERE'S KAE. We'll deal with her later).

"No, liddle un, she not be for playin'. Speakin' o'which, Barrr, if yeh could put her back the way she's supposed te be? It's just not right, it is."

And Ananda is back, in full Dragoon glory, replete with bandanna. No, Bar's not releasing the holiday entirely.

Kaelyn takes a quick step back. Okay confuuusing. She's only one and now has NO IDEA what's going on.

Luckily, her harried mother appears from around the corner, a similar brunette baby on her hip. "Kaelyn, no no! Don't wander off from me."

"Mama!" Kaelyn bounces. "El!"

El waves. And then she waves at the Dragoon. And Teddy. Kira sets her on the floor. "Hi. I'm sorry if Kaelyn was bothering you. She just wandered off."

"Naw, it be fine, me lady. She just be admirin' me friend, Ananda. Who 'as formerly a parrot, thanks t'the odd magic o'the barrr. 'Pologies fer t'pirate speak; it's a sorta holiday here. An I can't speak normal-like." Teddy frowns.

Kira shakes her head and smiles. "I've been here a few years. I know all the weird holidays. Luckily, Bar didn't pin me down with any pirateness."

Ellia tugs on her pants. "Mama, piwate?"

Kira sighs. "No pirates. In our world, pirates are very bad. No pirates."

"I dun't mind it, nay, but on me world, it won't be Pirate Day for many, many washes o'the tides. I might just be pirated out b'then!"

Teddy laughs a little. "Wun't stop 'er from tryin,' if she be anythin' like I think she be."

At some point when Teddy gets to the Bar, a rather large basket appears for him.

Inside is a lot of fresh bread, produce and some interesting gifts for lovers.

The only sign of who its from is a heart woven of wheat with a B and T interwoven in the center.

Teddy knows who it's from, though, and tells Bar to keep it until he goes back up to the room. It's a little embarassing to carry around a love basket.
