When Matilda enters the bar, she's looking extremely pleased for herself. Normally she would be with her teacher having tea, but Ms. Honey's been busy the past few days and she doesn't want to be a bother.
Nor does she want to actually be home at the moment, not really. Any time around her parents could spoil her mood and she wants to get in some piece while she does some homework. Of course, when she enters the bar and orders her usual cup of tea and toast, but along with the two she gets a plate with two of
these instead, one with a birthday candle in the shape of a six.
"Thank you, but it's not my birthday for another six months." A napkin appears next to the cupcakes '
It is according to THIS calender: the extra one is for a job well done'. Matilda smiles when she reads the note. "Oh, if you say so."
She's a small child after all, she's not going to refuse cake from Bar, especially when-according to the calender-she is six years old.
Carefully, Matilda peals off the wrapping, extra excited when she sees a layer of mint chocolate chip ice cream under the chocolate frosting.
Birthday girl is definitely botherable: if you're nice, she might let you have the second cupcake.
