Milliways time is a strange thing and no matter how often people tell Feuilly that it's a normal abnormality he can't quite shake the feeling that time ought to be a little more...obvious. For instance, how long has it been since his first happy hour? He'd have said a few days, but maybe it's been a few weeks?

Anyway, Bar has a napkin-note for him, when he comes down from another long(?) library visit, so he pushes a hand through his hair and figures out what he can do.

COFFEE

...is what the Specials Board says.

Behind the bar, Feuilly is smiling hopefully at customers.

((Eesh, I might be slow tonight because Dreamwidth is being all weird and laggy for me. Thread's open, though!))

Bonnie is carrying a large wooden crate when she enters, from which can be heard the sound of cheeping.

She proceeds directly to the stables to drop off the inhabitants of said crate under the lamp she set up safely earlier, before posting a sign to the notice board.

'SCOUTS

If you are taking part in rearing chicks for the Poultry Keeper badge, please report to the stables in the next 48 hours to meet your chicks.

There are nine live chicks; girls marked with a red dot of food dye on the wing and boys with blue. Please select your chick and mark them with a second colour dot (food dye on shelf in stables) so we can tell them apart.

You are responsible for all the chicks in your care, however I will inspect your personal chick at the end of the task.

You must look after the chicks for at least one month between you according to the rota Autor has drawn up* and help with either the coop (today) or the run (in next few weeks) to get the badge.

Be aware that chicks may die of natural causes. If however I or William discover the chicks are being neglected, mistreated, or have been eaten by demonic bunnies, you will all fail the badge.

A guide to chick rearing can be found hanging on a peg in the stables. I expect all of you to check it before asking questions, but I will happily help you if you are still stuck.

Bonnie'

With that, she heads out back and starts constructing what will be the outdoor chicken house.

[ooc: *The rota is entirely hypothetical, have your chicken posts as often or infrequently as you fancy. It is therefore not too late to have your scout sign up.

If you are unable to actually thread out the coop/run building you just need to let me know you did it.

See back room post for more info.]
