Clementine knows she has to face the music eventually, and she's dragged out her stay at Milliways for long enough. At this point she just wants to get it over with, wants to avoid the risk of slipping through the wrong door and getting locked out against her will.

So she asks Bar for some notecards and fills them out:

The last she seals with a kiss before turning toward the door and heading out, only her purse and her badge in hand.

Dixie, meanwhile, is finally ready to face down Doc. She only hopes she'll come out in one piece. Brisco knows she'll be waiting on the other side, but for everyone who means anything to her in the Bar, she scribbles down a quick note:

She has a steadying drink of sherry before she leaves to take care of business.

Alana's downstairs today, seated in a corner booth and reviewing her case notes. She's in a comfortable navy blue pencil skirt and a pair of red heels, to emphasize the blend of red and blue in her blouse. The people in handcuffs don't escape her notice, but she pays the Milliways weird du jour no attention.

What she does pay attention to, even more than her case notes, is her door, which she keeps glancing at and subsequently tearing her gaze away.
