Mike isn't so much seated at Bar as he is slumped over her. He hates days like today. You know the kind, where what you've been putting off all week just has to be done.

The concern du jour is the lack of writing on this week's Happy Hour schedule. There's just no amount of squinting that's going to make writing magically appear on the calendar before him, and he knows it.

It's just unfair the way the universe works, you know? That procrastination can't continue indefinitly.

Justin happens to be wandering by in that way that happens sometimes. Not having much to do, he stops when he sees the very frazzled looking Mike.

'You OK?'

[Tuesday 11th plz!]

"uh uh."

Says the guy shaking his head.

'What's up?'

He helps himself to a seat.

"sky. ceiling. alpha centauri.

pants."

He can't resist.

Justin would, under normal circumstances, roll his eyes but this plan is derailed by the need to make an unnecessary observation.

'Not all pants are up and the more often they're not, the better.'

Wait, this is his boss.

'...I'm not hitting on you.'

"well there goes the only ray of hope for my day."

'...yeah.'

Right. Moving on.

'So, to rephrase - is there anything I can help you with? You look stressed.'

Mike shrugs.

"A little song, a little dance, maybe Batman's head on a lance?

...

Or, you know, someone to like...pick up a bartending shift or two so Bar can have some downtime?"

Which ever comes first?

He looks worried there for a moment, then smiles. Something that makes sense, yay!

'Oh sure, that's no problem.

..I should have signed up for mine last week anyway, sorry about that. I can take tomorrow night if its free.'

Mike waves away the apology.

"Really, it's no problem. Tomorrow'd be great!"

'Awesome. Well, hope that solves a bit of your problem. I'll sign up earlier next week.'

He'd be perfectly punctual left to him, it's just his mun that is completely lame.

Mike scribbles down Justin's name in the appropriate square.

"It does at that! And yes you should. Failure to do so might result in....er...me being your boss would make what I was about to say sexual harassment, so let's just pretend I was going to be like...boss-like."

'Mike,' Justin says, in all seriousness.

'It would have to be really bad for me to accuse anyone of sexual harrassment.'

He's all for sexual harrassment.

"Spankings all around, then!"

'Fine with me!'

He laughs (though he may not be kidding) and shoulders his bag.

'OK, I gotta take off. Feel free to threaten me with stuff if I'm slack on putting my name down again.'

He really doesn't mind.

"I don't know that I have any other alternative now that I have permission to do so.

Have a good one, Justin. And don't do anything I wouldn't do twice."

He laughs again.

'That doesn't narrow it down much, I bet.'

He winks as he saunters off, grinning widely.
