Spoon is outside with a determined look on his face and a sword in his hand. He's set up his own poll, away from Ryan's, and is attacking it with the kind of determination that one would expect from an ex-prisoner of a government who had to let a teenager go back to a similar experience.
One would suggest making a lot of noise, and approaching from upwind, rather than startling him.

He knows this dance; it's usually the same no matter what the reason for it.
He stands quietly, letting Spoon take the time to notice that he's there rather than risk getting too close.

"Spoon."
He gives a slight nod, but he still hangs back. "Nice night to be outside."

"How long ago did he leave?"

Like that sort of noise?
Mmm.

Boom means wife.
Wife is good.
no subject
In this case, it means wife sitting at the edge of a rather large blast radius, looking a tad bit charred, and giggling to herself.
Wife is lunatic.

"'Lo Spoon. Geh, you're sweaty." And she's smoky, and obviously a fine one to talk.

Her hair is the same length.

"You're cute." She says, grinning. "A worry-wort, but cute."

She meets his tenseness with gentle invitation, his energy with languorous exploration. Whatever's wrong out there, here things are fine, and worth slowing down for.

"Fuckin' love you." he murmurs softly.
