Elaine is sitting at a booth, drinking beer and reading The Feminist Fairy Tales: A Collection from 2060. She has noticed that the tales are a bit...different from the ones she's heard before.

She's definitely not a skank, so he wonders if it's worth going over to talk to her.

"Hyde. Steven Hyde." Girls usually get the first name too. For some reason, he decides this girl deserves to have the shades off as well, so off they go - he clips them to the front of his shirt. "And you can have it as long as you want."

He peers at her beverage of choice and his face lights up. "A chick drinking beer? Now that's special." He smirks and nods. "You're a rare breed."

"Where're you from, man? Someplace medieval I'm guessing, where the let the chicks drink beer."

"I'm from Wisconsin. There's lots of beer there."

And of course, Elaine also wipes her mouth on her sleeve when she eats, though she's been trying to break herself of that partcular habit.
Wisconsin. Elaine's brain puts the connections together rapidly. "Oh, I have heard of Wisconsin before, the angel who tends bar has been living there of late."

That ring, by the way, has a thick silver band and a brown eyeball. he's still fiddling with it, and looking Elaine over. He's realizing that he doesn't entirely know how to talk to someone like her, and it surprises him.
