Usagi enters today carrying what looks to be a death ray of some sort. He stops to look around the room and then moves to seat himself on a cushion at the low table two wait-rat have thoughtfully set up for him. Usagi is grateful, for the tall tables are awkward and uncomfortable to him. "I would like tea and rice balls please," he humbly requests and the upon further thought adds, "And rice paper, wooden dowels and glue."

He sets the seeming death ray beside him on the floor, the business end pointed away from anyone. He then removes his daishō and sets them near to hand on his other side.

After a minute, the wait-rat returns with the items Usagi requested and as the tea sets, Usagi begins cutting the paper into shapes and sizing the dowels. Curious about the death ray or what he is making? Feel free to inquire.

She nods. "There aren't very many anymore, though. Most boats use steam to power them."

Or other fuels, but motorized engines are too complex for Klara to fathom, even early 20th century models.

Klara watches with the same fascination she has whenever Molly or Karolina or one of the others show her how things in the future work. It looks so simple, and at the same time...kind of fun.

"That's so wonderful," she compliments when he's finished. A little taken aback by his offer she asks, "Can I? I...don't wish to intrude."

She smiles, and kneels beside his table. "Thank you," she says.
