Petra sits at a table near the window-to-the-end her head in her hand. She has a drink and a book in front of her, but neither seem to be holding her interest at all.

Hexadecimal is looking for trouble. Or, if that will not work, she will settle for someone from mainframe. She has a small thing limp... thing in her hand.

"Really, I'm interested." Glance around. "As to the spaceship, I think something relatively inexpensive could be worked out."

"How so? It has to be provisioned, and kept in working order. That alone could very well cost a bundle. Unless you suddenly came into money?"

Petra raises an eyebrow.

"It depends..." Pause. "It really depends on what can be arranged."

"You sound like you might know something?" Petra is curious about this.

"Possibly." Pause. "I'd want to ask how much different ships cost to run...from different worlds, you know?"

"What universe do you have your head in?"

"None in particular. We seem...quite literally...stuck between them."

Petra is completly confused now.

"You are making no sense Bonzo."

Sigh. "My head isn't in any one universe because we're stuck between about 20 of them here."

"You need to pick one for a space-ship. I hear they don't deal with duel universes well."

Petra says this with an utterly straight face.

"No, I don't suppose they'd fight with them very well."

"You're so /cute./"

Sarcasm there /might/ just be lethal.

"Anyhow...as you were saying?" And Bonzo orders a drink to go with that comment. And a refill for Petra, too.

"I wasn't saying anything. You were explaining spaceships."

"No, I was explaining the general idea behind getting one." Shrug. "It's an idea, that's all."

"Right."

Bonzo sips his drink and sighs. "So...what was your idea, anyway?"

"Pink panthers."

If they're going to talk absurd things..

"Right. Seriously, what was it?"

"Just an idea, just like your spaceships. No details to me, no details to you."

Besides, he would like it less then she likes 'powers'.

"I don't have any details worked out. If I did, I'd have a pile of books somewhere."

"Then that's your answer."

Petra stands up. She had been so relaxed before this. Why was it that he got so under her skin so quickly? Almost every conversation turned into an argument.

Bonzo sighs and takes another drink. Another productive conversation, wasn't it?
