It's been a while but Xaldin is back. He's been quite busy and the slightly dishevelled appearance of his dreads gives mute testimony to that. There are little flecks of white in them as well - a side effect of the enheartening and the stress that he acquired when he was able to care about all that he'd done.

Teja has jumped up from where he was sitting, and walks over to Xaldin, rapidly and spirited.
"It is good to see you again, my friend!"

Pause.
"Is it science or magic you would use upon it?"

And she does look different. A little bit older and, though it's due to a different reason, a noticeably bigger chest.
"How have you been?"

"Let's see if you're still saying that in a few months."
But she does look good today. She went swimming today and is still in the bikini. She has a terrycloth coverup on her shoulders to wrap around herself should she get cold or feel immodest.
"Busy with what?"
If permitted, she'll reach up to pet his dreads. She likes the little flecks of white!

"Looking for a dead world capable of supporting life with some help."

"Seems like something the legends at home would have information about. I can check for you, but I don't know if there's going to be anything useful in there unless you've got a deity lined up to work some life into a planet."
She shrugs.
"I can take a look during my down time, work it into my huge stack of reading. I've only got a few things that are time sensitive."

Ace very nearly facepalms at the sight of the return of this particular Heartless. Well, him or his buddy, it'd be about the same level of frustration, just... by different means.
Though he is awful fun to snipe at. She doesn't get to verbally spar as much as she used to.

Though mostly, right now, she's trying to remember if Spoon is back in Yorkshire or not. Because if the answer is 'not', she's so dragging him off on a surprise trip where she'll accidentally get back two weeks after they left.

After she gets some cocoa, that is, because all good road trips need food.
And all good 'person trying to sneak out of the bar trips all over the person they're trying to avoid' scenes also need food.
Oops.

"Careful" in a completely neutral tone, trying not to grind his teeth at the cocoa on his papers.

"Sorry." She replies in nearly the same tone. Her professors did try to pound some manners into her, after all.
