*Paper-white, Bernard walks behind the bar from his table where Charlie Weasley and Crowley still sit talking amiably. He takes a deep breath and lights a new cigarette off the old one.*
Welcome to Milliways Happy Hour.
Drink specials tonight are Strongbow, Guinness, and Bushmill's Whiskey.
Food specials also have a distinctly Irish theme, as you might have guessed.
Now. What'll you have?

Sure. Anytime. Oh, and um, ressurections are my specialty if, you know, that's ever needed.

Oh, well that's good to know. I can do small healings as well though, sort of comes with the territory. That seems to be a rather common talent around here though.
Anyway, how did you end up here? Are you Bound as well? Or did you apply for this position?
*Easter is amused by the mental image of someone filling out a resume in order to get a job as Bartender at the End of the Universe*

Well, I was just a regular Bartender until the previous Barman, Sirius Black, left for Heaven. I woke up one morning, fully Bound and metaphysically bonded to the Bar.
She chose me.

....wow....
This sure is an interesting place, and I'm sure I don't even know the half of it.
Heaven? Really? It really exists?
*Easter is terribly exited about this prospect, never mind that she's a pagan fretility goddess*

It did for him. And his... well, wife, really. They left together.

Oh. That's nice. Terribly romantic in fact.
So, the illness that you mentioned before, since you're Bound to the bar, How did that affect normal operations around here?
*She hasn't quite gotten that the bar is animate*
no subject
It was, yeah.
Well, uh. They had to break the connection for a while. I would have died. So, for about a month and a half, the bar was in a coma herself. She was just a regular bar, I guess.
I just got re-Bound on New Year's Eve. So we're both finally all right.
*as he grins again, she'll be able to discern the fine network of scars which runs all over his body.*

Oh, wow, I had no idea. That must have been a terrible ordeal for...both of you? This place is just...
*she searches for the right word*
Crazy
no subject
Yeah. It is.
And it was.
no subject
Well, I like crazy. Makes me feel at home.
*Grins*
Well. it's been wonderful talking to you Bernard, but I don't mean to be monopolizing you. I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of each other. Thanks for the Cider and the Breif History of The Bar.
[OOC: Must go home now, as I am using the comupter at work and it hasn't been too fond of me today.]

Hey, stop by anytime.
[ooc: no problem, thanks for playing.]
