-There is, rather suddenly, a speedster in the bar. And for a second, he considers going right out, but time will have stopped on the other side of his door and maybe a few minutes to regroup and figure out what the hell just happened isn't such a bad idea.

And thus, a speedster in one of the booths, absently tapping his fingers against the table. Catch him while you can, folks.

"But you're supposed to," she answers indignantly. "That's what this is about, isn't it? That's what the books say. That I'm supposed to help you as your girlfriend."

Jenny stands from the table at that, hands on hips as she scowls. "Because you won't let me."

"I'm a Generation 5000 soldier with centuries worth of militaristic knowledge in my head - not to mention a Time Lady in training - and you say there's nothing I can do?"

Anger getting the better of her, Jenny bangs her fist down on the table. It shakes as she continues to glower at him. A few seconds more and she turns on her heel towards the backdoor.

"Maybe I should just find a boyfriend who'll actually let me help," she mutters to herself, albeit loud enough for him to overhear. "And one that'll talk, too."

Then closes it, and with a frustrated growl towards the bar, speeds through his Door.
