The demon's been busy getting used to her new mount -- trying out the paces, as it were. So far, so good. The lock-and-key symbol seems to be keeping him subdued and essentially unconscious, which makes it easy to not only manipulate his body, but also to look through his memories and get an idea of how to act like him.
One thing stands out as unusual, though, even downright weird, and that's the concept of some place called 'Milliways.'
It sounds interesting.
'Sam' thinks it over, then shrugs and decides to check it out. Steve Wandell can wait for a day or so. (He'd even be grateful for it, if he knew.)
Not long after that, the front door opens, and Sam Winchester walks in. He glances around the room, then heads for the bar.
"Give me a Bud and a pack of Marlboros. Menthol."
The beer and cigarettes appear, and Sam smiles.
"Thanks."

"Hey - Dean's been looking for you."

Too bad about what happened to the first one.
"Izzie, hey." He smiles at her, then blinks. "He has?"

There's a momentary flicker, and then she smiles, standing and moving at a fast clip toward whatever is wearing Samuel Winchester.
"Sam! Fancy seeing you here."
What could have happened to him in the meantime, how he could have let himself get possessed -- that she doesn't know. Yet.
no subject
He grins, evidently amused.
"Yeah? Where else would I be?"

"Dean sure gets around." The unstated implication is still clear.
Sam smiles -- just a bit off-kilter.

Isn't this interesting?
"Hello, darling. Fancy meeting you here.
"Now does Daddy know you're out having fun fun fun in this particular T-bird?"
no subject
"Oh look. It's 'sister dear.'"
Sam's smile is more a baring of his teeth.
"Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Why? You planning on telling him?"

She sits down on a stool beside - look at him. Tall, dark, and handsome.
"Menthols? I didn't know the bar supplied cigarettes, too." Although it makes sense. If she provides everything else.

This one.
Who knows, maybe Steve Wandell will end up in second place after all?

"Blue coke?"
Have I mentioned this place is cool? Cause this place is just too cool.

She brightens as she spots Milliways and closes the door behind herself, and she heads toward the Bar. She slows for a second as she catches sight of a certain tall figure, then determinedly finishes her walk and takes the stool next to him.
"Hey," she says, a little curt but not unfriendly, as Bar supplies a glass of water.
no subject
Sam smiles at her.

Where the bar corners off, just a few stools down from Sam, there's a figure in black stirring a tall mug of coffee.
He's not exactly paying much attention to what he's doing.
no subject
He grins. This is just too good to pass up.
Sam takes out his lighter and begins to tap it against his beer bottle in syncopation with Crowley's rhythm, only with the occasional annoying missed beat.

"Hey, Sam."

Inwardly, the demon gloats. This is just too delicious for words.
Outwardly, Sam swallows hard, and gives her a weak smile.
"Hi."
Beat.
"Um, how's it going?"
[ooc: oh man. *gets tea* is it just me, or is that a trainwreck ahead?]

a) A string of roles in school play (but never musicals) from middle school up through high school.
b) Her parents' inability to afford acting lessons or much of tuition at any college with a decent theatre program.
c) Ava's eventual disillusionment with the entire thing anyway when, as a junior, she was up for a major role in The Glass Menagerie but lost out to stupid Jenny Mollins. Whatever.
However, her time in Cold Oak has given her ample opportunity to return to her long-forsaken hobby. An integral part of stalking and assassinating her fellow competitors for the title of Miss Demonic USA, as it turns out, has been lying. Deceit. And Ava's gotten good at it, she really has. She can even, after months of practice, do the single tear.
All of which is to say that when she finally sees Sam, she is ready.
Cautiously, as if stepping around broken glass, Ava makes her approach. It wouldn't do to be too assertive, too plucky-- not at first. Also, is it just her or is there something a little weird about him?
"Um."
A delicate cough.
"Sam?"
no subject
"... Ava."
Carefully, carefully -- this'll require a complex and delicate set of expressions, after all -- the demon widens Sam's eyes and adds a touch of hopeful disbelief.
"It's really you."
