Teyla is outside this afternoon, legs tucked under her, face turned up to the sun. She's trying to meditate, but she has a lot of things on her mind.

It's not going so well, and she could probably use a distraction.

"You okay?" asked Daniel.

Teyla opens her eyes and smiles up at him. "Dr. Jackson," she says, inclining her head in greeting.

"I am...well. And you?"

[diehard_daniel]

"Overworked," he said with a smile and sat down with her, "I met Captain Kirk the other day. How are things going in Atlantis?"

[childofathos]

"Ah, yes. I met Jim very soon after I arrived here." She's not sure what this has to do with being overworked.

"Things have been...interesting. If you don't mind my asking, what year is it for you again?"

[diehard_daniel]

"2005," said Daniel.

[childofathos]

"Then it is likely unwise for me to say anything more than that things are interesting at the moment."

[diehard_daniel]

"But you look like you might need to talk," said Daniel, "Have you heard about the Ori?"
