The door bangs open, and a doctor enters. She’s looking particularly murderous today, jaw clenched and lab coat flaring almost dramatically behind her as she strides her way blindly into the Bar, the abrupt change of surroundings not really registering until she nearly trips over one of the waitrats, who thankfully manages to dodge out of the way in the nick of time.

The waitrat gets a startled apology, and Thirteen settles in a seat whilst trying to reign in her righteous anger.

For a moment, the young doctor looks thoughtful, and she reaches over, squeezing Tanya's hand gently.

"I appreciate the offer, I really do, and the directness."

She smiles, albeit a bit sadly and Thirteen watches watches the other woman's expression carefully, rejection or not, Tanya's become almost a friend of sorts.

"But I honestly can't really see anything happening between us. You're attractive, and very fun to flirt with, but there's just no...spark?"

Sad part is, she was expecting the rejection. "I understand."

Well, most likely she does not 'understand', actually falling to her low self-image ideas, but again, she expected it.

Tanya is not happy, but she will survive. "I guess I will have to keep looking and waiting." Just she will not.

She scoots a little closer and leans over to the other woman, pecking her lightly on the cheek.

"Thank you for understanding."

Well, what she could do, demand something? Hold thirteen to promises she did not make?
Oh wait, the first time they met Thirteen did insinuate a yes... ah, nevermind.

"You are welcome." See, Tanya even smiles a bit, drinking her schnapps.
