There's a tarot card in a chair. She's comfortable there, playing Cat's Cradle with sparkly purple string.
She's playing it by herself, and she's doing rather well.
Her bare feet bop to a song only she hears, and her bright eyes are very intent on the string, her fingers rearranging it until it form a pretty pattern.
Well, it's pretty to her.

"We look out for eachother." He's always worked with not knowing much ahead of time. So it doesn't frighten him that much, though he really doesn't like the part about the council coming and what will happen after.

"Don't let them break you. We can't... we can't let them... break us."
And then the glimpse of the future is lost to her, and Moon buries her face against his throat.

It's Moon herself that's the reason for his arms tightening, offering comfort any way he can for her though. He's not sure he likes seeing her frightened. It tugs at a want to protect her and wipe away that fear. "I'll try," he won't promise anything with the council involved, but he'd try his hardest.

"The string can stretch. It can stretch and stretch, but never let it break. It binds us all tight, and if we hold onto that..."
They have to hold on to it, hold on to each other.

"If it's one thing everyone in my world knows how to do it's hold onto ties no matter what," or how hard the other side pulls away at times.

She might even be snuggling closer, because she doesn't like feeling frightened or lost. Without seeing all possibilities for the future, all outcomes for them, she feels blind. It's a feeling she's learning to truly and utterly dislike.
"Good. The ties will be what keeps everyone... sane... almost everyone."

He can't help the, "Almost?" that comes out of his mouth. He doesn't like the fact that she's frightened. Or the fact that the council is coming. Or the fact that apparently it will be harder on them then the last visit with Musette. Much harder considering her words.

"The Moon's mirror will shatter and the pieces will get scattered again."

They'd make it through, and she hopes that someone will have found the glue to put the mirror back together when it's over.
