Jason is downstairs, curled in a chair by the fireplace with a large glass of water. He'd had his morning workout, and now he's resting before going upstairs to work his routines. If all goes well, he can go back home soon and get back on rotation.
Not being a headliner was sucking way too much.
Come and say hello?
[OOC: So...smut accidentally happened in the Nathaniel thread. And as it was accidental, it didn't go to the journal. You have been warned.]

Sameth has an idea that he feels like he wants to try and draw or work on before he goes to the forge so he's by the fire with a charcoal pencil and some parchment trying to get his ideas together.
Since he's testing and considering various Marks, the Charter and its smell is more clearly around him.

Looks like it's coming from that guy over there. Jason frowns and head over. "Hey," he greets, eyeing the stranger.
no subject
His thoughts are rather more on the design in front of him so Jason gets a confused look. Sameth's nothing too much to look at, just over six feet but its hard to tell with how he's sitting and focused on his work, his clothing is simple, good quality linen shirt and leather breeches and nice boots.
Though Jason might recognize the faint Charter Mark on his forehead from the times he's seen Yrael actually work another sort of magic.
no subject
"I wouldn't say 'bothering' exactly, but you're kind of monopolizing the smells in here. What are you doing?"
no subject
He turns the page around so Jason can see, the drawings are somewhere between an engineer's and an artist's.
no subject
"What's it supposed to be?"
And what are you doing over here to make it smell like this?
no subject
He tries to point out how its sort like a frog, he's the best artist but then its more he's drawing to remind himself of things.
no subject
Doesn't really help him.
"...is interesting. So; spells, huh? You do magic?"
Things start to swim to the surface in Jason's brain. He pauses, studying the guy uneasily. "Wait, are you from...shit, what's it called...the Old Kingdom?"
no subject
Sameth tries not to sigh, clearly this is one of Mogget's friends,
"I'm Sameth. Are you a friend of Mogget's?"
no subject
Shit. Didn't he and Yri go to Old Kingdom once so Yri could nosh on some Charter Mages?
Jason frowns. Best not to bring it up. "I'm not sure who Mogget is, but I've heard there was someone else from the Old Kingdom who keeps stirring trouble up for himself. Must be you, I guess."

Its a habit he normally does in Beliasaere when he's unsure but he's sitting a bit straighter and holding himself more like a prince.

Jason cocks an eyebrow. "Yrael?" he offers.

"Hey Nat, how's it going? You look happy."
no subject
Things were settling down for him, and he's rather happy with that.
"And you look somewhat like yourself again."
no subject
"I didn't know I was looking different." He smiles, though, and gives Nathaniel's hair a friendly tug. "No, but I had a lot of fun at Moon's party. I think we all really needed that."
no subject
"We did. Asher stuffed me full of food, and it was nice... watching him dance with Jean-Claude."
He knows how much Jean-Claude means to Asher, and he refuses to allow himself to feel any jealousy.
no subject
"Yeah, well, I know there were a lot of people who thought watching you dance was...nice." He chuckles. "You always amaze me when you dance like that: you shouldn't be allowed to be so sexy to both sexes."
no subject
"You know you could be sexy to both sexes if you tried."
no subject
He pauses and adds. "Not my stick, though. That's for the ladies."
no subject
"Or one particular lady?" he teases.

"I got to stay in Moon's room in the castle. It was pretty sweet." His grins fades for a moment. "And you should see what they've got hidden around that castle. Moon brought things to decorate, and the rest of the family found creative ways to hide them."
He leans in closer. "Hello Kitty as big as me. I about pissed myself."
