It's a cold, wet and muddy Angelina who finds her way into the bar today after a long Quidditch training session. Just what I need, she thinks smiling inwardly, a large alcoholic drink.

She heads to the bar and orders a very large Firewhiskey and perches herself on a stool. Eventually she'll set about drying herself off with magic but for now she'll settle for the Firewhisley.

A few stools down, there's a very pregnant, aqua-haired Game sprite digging into a burger nearly as big as the plate it's on.

If that's not enough to get a second glance from Angelina, then how about the fins adorning the back of her calves and forearms?

Angelina looks over st the woman and stares. Until she realises it's not polite to stare, of course, and looks away, but she can't help sneaking glances across at her.

AndrAIa hasn't stayed alive for as long as she has without being observant of her surroundings, and after she's about halfway through the burger, she sets the woman with a smile.

"First time seeing a sprite?"

"Is that what you are?" Angelina asks curiously. "To be honest I was trying to work out if you where some species of mermaid that I'd not heard of before."

"Sorry, I'm not a mermaid. Though, I expect that the person who designed me had that in mind."

She offers a cool, plastic-y hand to Angelina.

"I'm AndrAIa."

"Angelina," she says, taking the offered hand and shaking. The other woman's hand feels strange to Angelina.

"Sorry, did you say 'designed'?"

AndrAIa nods.

"Yeah, I'm a G-" She breaks off, pausing a moment. "How much do you know about computers?"

"Not much." Barely anything at all in fact.

She thinks back to an image she saw of one once. "They're kind of like TV's, right?"

The Game sprite grimaces a bit at the comparison.

"Not really, no. I mean, a computer's monitor will display things like a television does, but it's not the same. Computers store and process information while televisions receive and display it."

Angelina nods slowly to show she understands. Sort of.

"Sorry, I don't know much about muggle things," she explains having noticed the grimace.

AndrAIa's eyebrows raise.

"Muggle things?"

"I'm a witch," Angelina explains. "Muggle is our word for people who don't use magic."

"A witch? As in broomsticks and cauldons and black cats?"

Forgive her, the only experience she's had with witches is in the Games, and even that is minimal.

"Thats the one," she says with a cheery smile. "Broomsticks and black cats are optional though."

Angelina has two of each.

"And you can do things regular humans can't?"

Angelina nods.

"Yup. But it also means I've never touched a computer in my life."

"Then how about we put it as that I'm not human and leave it at that?"

She laughs. "Sounds good to me.

Have you been coming here long?"

She nods.

"Yeah, a few years by now, I think. How about you?"

"Same. It must be what... 5 years at least now? I've kind of been avoiding the place for a while though."

She shoots the other woman a curious glance.

"Why?"

She smiles wryly as she explains "There was this guy. We met here and we dated for about 2 years and then he just never came back.

I kind of decided it was stupid to base my social life in a place where time and space are quite so fliud."

"Makes sense," she agrees, nodding. "Though I know a few people that have made it work."

"I know a few who it's worked for myself. I just wasn't one of them.

I still like coming here once in a while though, and catching up with everyone. It makes a nice change from work and life."

"It is nice, isisn't it? As crazy as this place is...it's comforting."

Angie nods in agreement.

"It has a certain charm to it, thats for sure. And the people who come here aren't boring either."

"I know us stries hadn't met humans before, before coming here."

"And now you're surrounded by them. Are there many of your kind here or are you the only one?"

"There's a few of us that come here. My husband for one, and my in-laws. Just look for the people with green or blue skin."
