Forge post

Teja is in the forge, working furiously.

The midwinter holidays are not far off; also, it has been his while since he's seen Charlie, and that brings up feelings in the Goth that are best dealt with by intense sparring, or vigorous hammering.

The cats, not minding the noise, lounge by the fire.

Despite the cold outside, the door is open, and all comers, be they friend or stranger, customer or merely curious, are welcome.-

Mina smiles, laughs softly. "There is nothing to tell," she demurrs, shaking her head. "I am a widow, I have lived in England all my life, London for most of that."

"At first, perhaps," she inclines her head in agreement. "But I have lived long enough to know of stranger places." Places where blue fire marks the spot where the dead have buried treasure, where the mist can hold pure evil...

"In any case," she adds hurriedly, "I am a scientist, and it is in my nature to find answers for such things." She has yet to discover the bar's secrets, but she is determined...

"Really, there is nothing beyond science."

"Blood-drinkers?" She asks, curious. "I have met only one, Nikola Tesla." And hadn't that been a surprise - not only to meet the Nikola Tesla, but to find out that he was like her, a vampire.

"And some a little of both, no doubt..." She, certainly, has never found it easy to distinguish between the hunger to feed on blood, or to feed on flesh.

"Indeed," she muses, smiling wryly. "And thus is the fascination with them born." She has read enough about the modern idea of vampires - courtesy of Bar - to be thoroughly disgusted with the idolising of her kind.
