Enter Alyx Vance.

She's looking very subdued at the moment, and has a moderately-sized stack of papers under one arm.

"Bar? I need a map of North American rail lines in my world, circa 2001. The biggest one you can get me."

She takes the folded paper that materializes and heads for the biggest table in the Bar. Vance Prime has work to do.

"I'm not sure if he really 'got through' to them," says Alyx, "buuuut I don't think they'll be bothering us again."

"Sometimes that's the best you can manage," Annabelle says with a wry grin. "Them leaving you alone is something, at least."

Alyx nods.

"Now, you said something about a drink?"

[aeons_crackshot]

"I did indeed," Annabelle says with a smile. "I'm sure Bar will have an interesting recommendation or two."

Hopefully, working on the map will make for a less frustrating evening if Alyx has a drink to take the edge off.
