The recent party was nice and good distraction. Still George had been checking for his door each day and getting increasingly agitated for two reasons. One, he was stuck here. Two, he could feel the moon growing more full. Having a pack here helped, and yes he'd come to some terms with himself and his furrier self. Still, having that side more under the surface was making him antsy. He had to stop himself from pacing near the door like a caged animal a few times, and fidgeted with the salt shaker on a table instead.

Maybe a walk out back will help. Maybe not... He even started heading to the back door, but then looped back to his table again.

And then again ten minutes later.

"Ta, I'll just have some tea." George said as he found a seat to sit. He remained fidgety though.

"Okay, I know I would be reacting much worse if it were me." Jordan kinda-shrugs. "But being worried will not make the place let you out sooner."

Pot, kettle, and all that.

"I know that." Fidget, fidget. He was trying to calm down, but it was only getting trickier with the wolf coming out more and more with the growing moon.

"The stunner offer is still on the table. Should put you to sleep for up to twelve hours."

Or twelve minutes, if the moon-born resilience is there in un-shapeshifted form.

But she is joking.

"No, no there will be no stunning! Not now or later."

He then added, "You always ask about stunning random strangers, do you?"

"Only when I am fairly sure they will not get the joke." And now she grins widely.

"Oh yes, really funny. Joking about electrocuting people! How hilarious!" Sometimes George was highly sarcastic. Like now.

Jordan makes a face at that. "It is not electrocuting: it is a stun-gun, not a taser, tasers are barely disguised stone age technology."

"My stun-gun acts directly over the sensory balance organs and the brain, causing vertigo and a black-out. Like spinning too fast in a wheelie chair then doing a 12-G pull-up in a fighter plane." And as displeasing as it sounds.

George caught exactly what she meant, even without the comparison. "Oh and having them unconscious is better? What next? Not like you could drag them to the infirmary."

"I would have my robotic assistant drag the person into a booth. And remember, if I stun someone, is because the person actually asked for it." Jordan smirks. "Or it was self-defense."

"Right I think I need some air." Plus he wanted to get away before he got so angry he'd growl at her. Between being Bound, the wolf inside, and now someone casually talking about stunning people left him extremely tense. Still his run was somewhere between panicky spaz, and a loping quality to it.

Jordan simply watches him go.
