Xaldin is sitting in the bar with a sign. Xigbar wrote the sign and it reflects his taste in speech. However the sentiment is correct.

"Then I hope you don't mind the warming charm I put on it."

She knows it's a touchy subject, but she had to put the "very" in "very warm scarf" somehow.

And she had put a cooling charm on the one for Vexen, so it balances out?

"I do not. I am usually sick over Christmas and warmth is very comforting to me."

"Good. My last Christmas was a good one spent with my in-laws. Though Draco freaked out when I started noticing Braxton-Hicks contractions."

Xaldin nods again. He's not really sure what to say but he's very happy to listen to her.

Well here, she'll give him an idea.

"How have you been since we last spoke?"

"Busy. World to world seeking somewhere we can use. Spending time with Xigbar and with Princess. Worrying about Zexion."

"Sounds like it."

And now to ask:

"Have you been in contact with Vexen here?"

He looks away from her and says "He might be a clone. He is not - as I remember."

This doesn't really make much of a difference to Mia, who never had a Vexen to compare to before.

"You won't disregard his mission, will you?"

"I spoke with him once." Xaldin says gently "And I have been gone since then. I found it disturbing, Mia. Please don't push me to promise you something without understanding what you are asking."

Which is about when Xigbar shows up.

Just like that-- shows up, is suddenly there.

"Hey dude, how's the search going? Hey babe," he adds to Mia.

"Hello, Xigbar," she says. "It's been a while since I've seen you."

Fine, the subject is dropped for now. But Mia does intend to help Vexen to the best of her abilities.

With or without their help.

Xigbar and Xaldin have no idea what Vexen wants. They haven't been around. The muns do not know what Vexen wants. They haven't been around either.

"We've been gone." Xaldin says again.

"Yeah, you know, stuff to do. So like, you a headshrinker too babe?"

There is only one thing a Nobody can lack and thus want for...

"Not in the literal sense or whatever sense you mean here."

"Psychologist." Xaldin corrects "Zexion needs help that we don't know how to give him."

"Yeah, pretty much. And like, it can be some guy from one of those weird-ass no-magic worlds, you know?"
