There is a leopard in the bar. Currently he doesn't look much like a leopard, barring the eyes that are always that same strikingly feline yellow-green, but he's striking a lazy pose across a chair that leaves little to question.
Micah may or may not be purring, as he flicks through a book (Jekyll and Hyde), one bare foot twitching like the end of a cat's tail.

Interesting eye colour, that.

"What have you been up to?" He doesn't know how much time has passed here since he's been in and out, usually out of late.

A fully costumed Hawkgirl is not purring when she comes in through the back door. She's done her routine flyover of the lake, circled the mountains, and since she's glad - glad, for once - that her portal appeared to Milliways given the absolute insanity back home, she decides to stay awhile. At least long enough to drink a mug of something hot.
This means that she takes a vacant chair near Micah's, leans the halberd she's been carrying against the back of the next chair over, and settles into her seat with a series of clanks and clinks as she arranges her weapons such that she's not being poked to death by an errant dagger on her belt.
Then she orders a cup from a passing waitrat - no, strike cup, make that an entire samovar - of tea along with a few delicacies.
Kendra's attention is drawn to the twitching foot. It's not that she finds it odd; quite the contrary, in fact. She tends to do the same thing, albeit at a slower speed, when she's deeply engrossed in a film, book, or on monitor duty.
She also notices the book - and points are given to Micah for taking the time to read one of the classics rather than settle for a cinematic bastardization. Kendra is a purist about a few things, and she loves literary canon.
She doesn't say anything. Yet. But she offers him a companionable nod.

Micah looks over at the noises, and studies the girl in the costume curiously around the book, one finger marking his place. But she's not posing him a threat, even with so many weapons, and so he merely returns the nod, before going back to his book.

The samovar, two cups, and food are placed on the low table next to her seat. The tea smells divine, almost overpowering to Kendra's senses - it's a dark Russian blend, but layered with lychee fruit. She hadn't asked for two cups, but waitrats often have a way of knowing, in Kendra's experience, what picking a certain will mean when it comes to beverages. Maybe they can see five minutes into the future - that would explain a lot.
His eyes she's definitely noticed, but she reserves judgment - he could be anyone from anywhere, and given the nigh infinite varieties of life forms on her own Earth alone...he might just be a regular Joe where he hails from.
But he smells very interesting - her Nth metal gives her that much.
"Did you know that Serge Gainsbourg wrote a song about Jekyll and Hyde? Docteur Jekyll et Monsieur Hyde," she adds curiously, tone conversational to the point of downright friendly.

Kendra herself smells interesting to Micah, but he doesn't comment on it; it's entirely unlike a swanmane, save for the feathery smell. "But then, I don't know that any song could really capture the entirety of the plot," he says.

Her head might be tilted at such an angle as to read the cover of the book without disrupting his reading.

Micah streeeetches to reach the Pardmate and nudges her with a foot. He's noticed the Liz, oh yes.

Just... don't tell Asher he's borrowing shirts.
He smiles at his Nimir-Raj. "Hey, Micah."
no subject
He gives the leopard a once-over, curious at the very Asher-looking shirt as he scritches Nathaniel's nape. "Been borrowing clothes?"
no subject
"Don't tell him... though I think he knows. How are you?"

Entering the bar from outside, where he'd been taking in the night air, he spots Micah and makes his way over. He hasn't had too much contact with Micah alone, even living above Anita's garage and seeing everyone in the house. The wereleopard is usually busy with Coalition work, so he hasn't wanted to bother him. Here in Milliways, however, there is a little time to be friendly.
"May I join you, or would you rather read in peace?" he asks Micah with a hint of a smile.
no subject
"I haven't seen you much lately, in St. Louis."
no subject
"One of the side-effects of living above the garage." In the basement, he had been in closer contact with Anita, Micah, and Nathaniel, as well as the other shifters that were constantly coming and going. Above the garage, he could be utterly isolated if he allowed himself.
