Kate's return has worried Will, he knows her world has great and complicated troubles and he hates that there's only so much he can do.

So he's outside at the range firing arrow after arrow into the targets, its restful to hear the thunk, thunk of arrow into straw.

Later perhaps he'll move to the peals but for now, its arrow after arrow as he works to keep his temper in check.

"I have never thought asked about his first death enough," Teja says. "He said somebody called 'the fox' did, by pushing him off a scaffold. But why?"

Pause.

"I am sure I may learn much about him, if I get him to speak of that. A man's death will always be helpful in understanding him."

"'rhaps they were fightin' an scaffold's a good place for shootin'."

Teja nods. "He might have been shooting down, or trying to, and the fox -- whoever that may be -- stopped him," he ponders.

"Aye, probably did since 'e'd na go down easy."

"I wish I could speak to that fox," Teja says. "It must be a very tenacious and clever man indeed that took down Urquhart; he is a pain in the neck, and very stubborn."

"Aye, tis what makes 'im so dangerous."

"It is ever dangerous when a man stops for nothing," Teja says.

"An kills for coin."

"He has no cause he believes in, but his own gain," Teja says.

"Just coin."

"I know not," Teja says, "if the bar would work with us, to take away his gains from his tab; he said the money he was given for killing me is in there."

A good thought that might be worth investigating. If Urquhart may not keep the money, would he do it again?

"Wouldna 'urt to ask."

"I shall do so," Teja says. "There must be a way to impress upon the man that he must not try and kill people in the bar."

"Aye, but will take some doin'."

"Yes," Teja says. "And I may not use my axe for it, either."

"Aye, dinna wish ye to get in trouble."

"Also, killing him is pointless," Teja says. "He will just come back."

"Aye, tis only so much we can do, 'ate it."

"So Malcolm Crowe is still out best hope," Teja says.

"Seems so, aye."

"He might be able to take the man's mind apart so the danger may be contained," Teja says.

"Aye an figure out somethin' to make 'im little less dangerous."

"Indeed," Teja says. "A hard duty."

"Aye, but should find somethin' to do 'bout 'im 'fore 'e kills 'gain."

"That is what I meant by hard duty," Teja says. "To keep him from killing more."
