Kate's return has worried Will, he knows her world has great and complicated troubles and he hates that there's only so much he can do.

So he's outside at the range firing arrow after arrow into the targets, its restful to hear the thunk, thunk of arrow into straw.

Later perhaps he'll move to the peals but for now, its arrow after arrow as he works to keep his temper in check.

"Na right to try an trick ye by who ye are."

"He's just a bully and a murderer. I only just found out he killed his mother." A brief look of guilt flashed across her face.

"Then again, he didn't know his mom used to be Princess Python, this supervillain until I told him."

He hugs her, "Sounds like ye did yer best, love with an easy choices."

"But she might still have been alive if I kept my big mouth shut. Yeah she's a bad person, but she shouldn't have been killed."

"Ye didna kill 'is mother, an 'e would 'ave found out some point or 'nother. Na yer job to protect e'eryone."

"I'm an Avenger, we're supposed to protect people. I should have suspected he might. I mean, he worships the Punisher, he uses guns, he's got a skull like mask for his costume and a noose around his neck. And he calls himself the Executioner, if all that doesn't sound like potential killer, I don't know what does."

"Aye, but would she 'ave believed ye if ye'd warned 'er?"

"I doubt it. I suspected she only liked me because of my family's influence."

"Aye, so ye did what ye could."

He kisses her gently on the lips,

"Canna regret e'erythin' else ye'll na be able to do anythin'. Just know more for next time."

There was a quiet booth to sit down at, but Kate lingered longer to kiss him.

"I know, just sometimes... You don't think I sound too righteous sometimes do you?" That was one of the biggest accusations the other kids who wanted to be Young Avengers were accusing her and her teammates of.

"Nay, ye believe in what ye're fightin' for. 'eard righteous men, they're the sort who condemned me many a time. Ye've na the same cruelty an need for power as 'em. Ye just wish to do right in the world."

Kate nodded, "If I did have those, I'd be no better than Danny. Be more like that time, um the whole Brand thing. I told my friends they could be a bad influence. That if we're not careful, we could be like them."

Will shifts to hug her since he was so close to losing her with Brand,

"Aye, but ye're na."

"Because we're careful. Somebody has to be back there. Keep the name Avengers as meaning something good."

She hugged him back and then decided to change the topic, "Thank you, love you Will. You want to order or should I?"

"Ye should just as long as we've somethin' chocolate for dessert. An ye are, know what ye're tryin' to do an are doin' it."

"All right, I'll be right back," She gave him one more kiss before flagging a waitrat down to order up dinner. Once done, she scooted closer to Will again, snuggling against him.

"Ye're good at showin' 'ow to be good, love."

"Thank you, hope so." She nuzzled his shoulder slightly. "You're really a good person, Will. You know that right?"

"Just meself an just tryin' 'ow I can."

He pulls her closer and kisses under her ear.

Her face colored as she smiled, "Mmm, keep that up, and it'll be a short dinner."

Kate then wondered, "How's everybody handling the winter back home? Starting to warm up at all?"

"Tis an things are gettin' better. Warm weather's good for that. Whate'er ye'd like, love."

"Tempting," She leaned up to kiss his chin.

"And that's good. People can start planting again."

"Soon aye. What's next for ye?"

"Well, I'm on break now. I'm not sure really."

"Ye'll figure it out, ye've a good group o'folks round ye."
