A very ruffled, very rumpled Saffron lounges on a couch, cradling a half-full G&T and occasionally cursing her body.
She's sore all over, for one. Sore and tired and oddly, strangely full (though she has a feeling she knows exactly what caused all of her side effects in the aftermath of her change back).
She takes a moment, looks at the contents still resting in her drink, and then proceeds to down the rest in one go.
"Gāoyáng zhōng de gūyáng, what I wouldn't give for a massage right about now," she mutters to herself.

"It's Chinese," she replies. "Actually."

Jools goes silent for a long while, suddenly very interested in what his hands are doing.
"What's it like, then?"
no subject
"Are you searching for some kind of language lesson? I may be a little disappointing on that front. Besides, Mandarin was the only language that survived for us - apart from English, that is."

She nearly chuckles.
"I'm not sure. What's your fascination with Spanish?"

But Saffron's voice speaking Chinese does get his attention.
"Will give massage for coffee?" he adds, hopefully.
He feels as if he'd spent every last bit of his energy.

"Signal a waitrat. I'll pay for the coffee if you share those magical hands of yours."
no subject
"It was good," he says. "But my, did that take everything out of me."
He looks over to her. When he gets a bit of coffee, he'll most likely get the energy to move himself to her couch.
"I couldn't possibly kill anything now," he adds. "Not even a fly."
no subject
"It sounded like a good idea," Saffron groans. "At the time. Before my muscles decided to completely rebel against me."

The waitrat brings a small, deeply black coffee. Urquhart knocks it back, shudders, and gets up to take himself over to her couch, sitting down beside her feet.
"Where do I start?"
no subject
She buries her face against one of the couch cushions and mutters something unintelligible.
"I haven't been this exhausted in ages."
no subject
He picks up her foot and starts massaging her instep, and her ankle.
For 'everywhere', you have to start somewhere.
no subject
"I promise I'll do you next."

"Could be."

"Was it worth it?"
no subject
"That's right. I almost forgot you figured out it was me."
His touch in her hair sends shivering shockwaves down her spine, and she arches, releasing a pleased sigh as she nuzzles into his lap.

Now that is a reaction that Moist likes so he keeps gently stroking her hair.

"See, I knew you were clever. I knew you'd recognize me eventually," she murmurs.
