"-I was passing my time away
To the left and to the right
Bulidings towering to the sky
It's out of sight-"
Bumblebee's still pretty thrilled about how things worked out at home after all the hell Megatron and Shockwave put everyone through. Hence the choice of song. On the other hand he's here now, and that's good too; it's been a while since he's seen some people. Getting everything back in working order at home keeps a mech busy as anything. Nothing wrong with a little R&R.

Pause.
"In the desert? Is that where you all converged?"
He is thinking about the Space Bridge. If Shockwave got it before it could be destroyed there will be Real Trouble on the horizon.

He still hasn't mastered typographical tricks to indicate hesitancy.

"Did you win?"
Logically a battle had to have been waged.
"With everyone still operational?"

"And we lost others, as well- but they knew that might happen when Ironhide used the space bridge to bring them to Earth."
no subject
"You ... used the Space Bridge? Rodimus didn't—"
Pause. Rodimus would understand why Ironhide did what he did. There would be no disapproval.
"It needed doing, I suppose. Did it work?"

"I do not think Shockwave was able to entirely purge the last traces of the sparks from those mechs he converted into his drone army. It would have gone better for him if he had."

Pause.
"Starscream....
...did what?"
Blinkety-blink.
Well, regarding the Swarm there are things even Shockwave can't do. Sparks are complex things that even the brightest on Cybertron struggle with understanding.

You underestimated Starscream didn't you?
"Can't say anyone's going to miss him any."

More than just being angry over the death of an Autobot, Bumblebee considers that one personal. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe raised him, more than any of the others in his cohort.

"You sounded a little like Ironhide there."
His expression says that this comparison is not a bad thing at all; that he might be a little amused at this side of Bumblebee.
Too many people underestimate the Bumblebees of the multiverse. Many of them learn what a mistake that is.
"Despite casualties most managed to make it through."
Pause.
"Are any staying or going home after this?"

The scroll clears. The next word to form is merely "Yes."

"What?"
Oh, man, Rodimus is going to kill him when he finds out about the Space Bridge...
"It ... sent a piece of Earth in exchange for a piece of Cybertron?"
Yeah. Kill him until he's dead.

"How do you manage to keep it from being detected?"

The Autobots consider the X-Files to be some of the finest comedy Earth's produced yet, but once in a while Bee finds a good line or two.
He doesn't seem especially upset about it, for what that's worth.

Things weren't always so smooth right after the Autobots and Decepticons awoke on Rad's Earth. He hopes it went better for Bumblebee and the others.
