Demeter is tired, she's spent the day gardening with Kore, but the world is feeling on the edge again.

When she finds the Bar in the potting shed, Demeter smiles and wipes her dirt smeared hands on her green dress and goes to rest on a couch with a glass of white wine.

As she sits, she looks around for any familiar faces, she hopes that no new troubles have happened here.

Data sees Demeter in the bar and decides to stop by and say hello. He notices something about her posture that reminds him of some of his crewmates' after what they would describe as a "long day."

"Hello, Demeter," Data greets, coming up behind her and placing one hand on the back of the couch. "How are you this evening?"

She smiles at his voice,

"Oh hello, Data. I'm quite well. Join me."

"Thank you," Data says, in response to her offer. He walks around to the other side of the couch and sits down.

"Have you been busy today?" he asks.

"Yes, I've been gardening with my daughter."

"That sounds nice." Data likes gardening, though he does not get the chance to do it often. But his friend Keiko has taught him a few things. "How is your daughter?"

"Good, today was a productive day. How have you been?"

"I am well," Data replies. He pauses a little before adding, "Though I will admit that I have been somewhat preoccupied lately with the subject we discussed the last time I saw you.

"I believe I should thank you for that discussion," he mentions, sincerely. "I appreciate your willingness to listen."

Somebody is smiling at her from not too far away.

Somebody who tends to be some sort of trouble, most of the time.

Demeter nods to Urquhart, he looks pleased with himself.

He is.

Also, his eyes are grey today, instead of their usual amber.

"Would you like something to eat with your wine?" Urquhart asks.

She's never seen him with that color eyes and leans forward for a better look,

"Thank you, yes. What happened to your eyes?"

"I swapped the colour for the kiss from a fairy," Urquhart says. "It's temporary. Would you like some green salad with fried fish, and garlicky bread? That goes well with white wine."

"That sounds nice. What an odd thing to ask for. Why?"

Ganymede walks into the bar with a wineglass in his hand, surprised that the door showed up without him trying to get here. But he sees Demeter, and makes his way over to her with a smile.

"My lady."

"Hello. Its been too long. Tell me how you are, my dear."

She gestures to a seat beside her.

"I am well," he says. "It has been several months."

He certainly looks different, for all that someone whose appearance never changes can; his clothes are modern, and he's lost the unworldly look. "I have a vineyard," he smiles.

"Wonderful, where?"

She hugs him him when he sits down, he looks happier.

"It's in California, and smaller than most, but very worthwhile. It makes good wine."

"Size doesn't matter as long as the land is loved."

Nearby, Carlotta is asleep on a large pile of books.

Demeter spots her and puts a blanket over her and gently lifts her head so that its resting on a pillow not a book.

Carlotta stirs and wakes up.

"Gracious, I must have dozed off!"

"You did. When did you last sleep properly?"

[fiery_ring]

"Last night?" Carlotta tries.

"And how long have you been studying?"
