Teller likes routine. He thrives off it. On his way out of the apartment, he feeds the horrible cat. Then it’s off to the mailbox to pick up the shop’s mail and drop off anything out-going. Then, the bakery, where he picks up four dozen boxes of assorted doughnuts before making his way, finally, to the shop.
Balancing the pastries in his arms and holding the mail in his mouth, he barely manages to get the shop door unlocked without dropping everything. He walks inside and,
Oh, for crying out loud. This is just ridiculous.

He might drop his doughnuts! Or his mail! Either of these would clearly be a TERRIBLE TRAGEDY!
Fortunately, the small redheaded girl who just narrowly avoided tripping over her own chair is here to help.

Dropping the doughnuts would indeed be a terrible tragedy.

"So where do you need these to go? Oh - do you want to take them to a tablef for now? Or are you going somewhere like someone's room or something?" she asks, hopping from one foot to the other to try and balance out the tottering pile as it wobbles left, then slides right.

Finally, he decides instead to just point at a nearby table.

"Okay! What are you gonna do with all those boxes, anyway? They weren't too heavy, so that's good!"

He's not really used to being around children. Especially hyper children.
Maybe a distraction is in order. So he reaches into his mouth and pulls an entire deck of cards from his mouth, one by one.

Duck's eyes go wide.
"Is that a magic trick? That's amazing!"
(Duck is easily impressed.)

Teller will find out momentarily that the boxes of doughnuts are levitating, as Fin watches him.

With the rather large stack of envelopes on a nearby table, Teller opens the topmost levitating box of doughnuts and offers one to Fin.

Maybe not the reaction Fin was expecting, but Teller claps.

Fin plays with it, watching it flap and land on his hand, pushing its nose into his hand, presumably in demand of affection.

He seems rather proud of this.

The dragon decides it would rather go to Teller and chirps at him, looking for a spot to land. (Fin likes to do this to people. Especially the normal-looking ones.)

Teller blows on the dragon as though it were an insect. It's a very good illusion, and he rather enjoys watching it.
Eventually, he seems to get bored of it and pulls out a paper napkin from his pocket, which he wraps round his hand. He then offers out his thumb, indicating with his free hand that he wants Fin to grab hold of his thumb.

It's a good trick. He'll really like it.
