Penny was never really that good at Divination and just about managed Arithmancy. Still, she'd gone outside to the lake and picked up enough rocks to make a rune set out of. Being a Ravenclaw, when packing up for an escape into nowhere in particular, she brought all of her textbooks with her in her Bottomless Backpack. That includes her sixth year Divination textbook that included runic divination.

Now she's sat at a table in the bar throwing nine rune stones again and again with the same result each time. It's almost uncanny if you watch it. You'd probably get some entertainment from the not-quite swearwords she's muttering as well. She could probably do with a break to be honest but she's not going to do so on her own; she's too focussed on getting a different answer out of the rocks in front of her to do so.

"Yeah. Top marks in Concealment and Disguise the past two years," Teddy says, shucking on the shirt, finding a stone, and setting it on the ground in front of him. "Okay. Stop me - or just tell me afterwards - when I list a spell you don't know. Cave Inimicum, Disillusionment Charm, Bedazzling Hex, Protego Totalum, Protego Horribilis."

She nods to each one of those, "I've done all those before, back when we had what the NEWTs brought up when I was doing extra revision. I've been trying to use a version of the Disillusionment charm on my backpack but the charm that lets it hold far more than it should doesn't like most other things and doesn't work with them." She shrugs.

"Okay. When you're back outside the bar and are staying somewhere while on the run, a combination of those charms should keep you relatively hidden, safe from outside attacks, and alerted to any intruders. Obviously if they fail and somebody does manage to get past your defences, you'll need to get out of there as quickly as possible, but without revealing where you're going - so, apparating a short distance, and then using a broomstick."

"Apart from that, try to stick to Muggle transport. Trains and suchlike. I mean, you probably don't need me telling you any of this stuff, but it doesn't hurt to reiterate it. Magical forms of transport like Floo, apparation, and portkeys can obviously all be tracked to one degree or another. Broomsticks and Muggle transport are much easier to use if you're trying not to be followed."

"Actually, I wasn't planning on using magic at all. They'd started putting tracking charms on people's wands and I don't know whether they'd got to mine yet. Other than that," She pulls out a sheath of forms, on top of which is an unsigned tenancy form for somewhere in Manchester. Underneath that's one for one in Birmingham. At the bottom of the pile is a passport and an open ticket to America. "I am half-blood. I was just going to cut, maybe dye my hair and live Muggle until the whole thing was over. If it's one thing I know, it's how bad the other side are at searching out people once they're lost in Muggledom." She loks at him frankly, "So, how do I score?"

"Sounds good. America would be the place to go, I think - they can still call for the American magical government to search for you, but the concentration of wizards and witches isn't as high, so you have a better chance of blending into the background. Also, given what's happening, the Americans may well just refuse to do anything the UK Ministry says."

Beat.

"I think I've set up a safehouse there, but I won't have for another two decades in your time, so that won't be any use."

"Ha, in my time the American Government is as hands off the situation in Britain as everyone else in the world. I'd be safe crossing the Channel really but I just want to make sure if I have to." She shakes her head, "It's alright. My neighbour's got relatives who said they'd put me up for a bit." She smiles and tips her head, "Maybe something different than discussing what I'll probably have to do if/when I leave here?" She'd rather not think too long about spending the rest of her life away from everything and one she's ever known.

"Sorry. Actually, in general, it doesn't sound like you needed to ask me for lessons on anything in the first place, you've got it pretty much covered," Teddy smiles.

"Go paranoia and Professor Flitwick, eh?" She rejoins with a smile of her own. "To be honest it was a plan put together by the whole office. We all got different bits of it to take with us. I don't envy my boss, Mr Allard, who's got all the Muggle govermental information with him." She wonders, vaguely, if any of this is in the history of the victors, so to speak.

"Professor Flitwick is awesome," Teddy agrees. "Well, I can probably still teach you things not related to your current problem. Can you produce a Patronus?"

She smiles, "He's still around in twenty years time, that's good to hear." She shakes her head, "I think Professor-" she catches herself just in time, remembering who she's talking to. "I think we were going to cover it in seventh year but never got around to it. I think it'd be a pretty neat one to know though."

"Professor ... ?"

Teddy thinks he knows the answer, but he'll ask anyway.
