Penny was never really that good at Divination and just about managed Arithmancy. Still, she'd gone outside to the lake and picked up enough rocks to make a rune set out of. Being a Ravenclaw, when packing up for an escape into nowhere in particular, she brought all of her textbooks with her in her Bottomless Backpack. That includes her sixth year Divination textbook that included runic divination.

Now she's sat at a table in the bar throwing nine rune stones again and again with the same result each time. It's almost uncanny if you watch it. You'd probably get some entertainment from the not-quite swearwords she's muttering as well. She could probably do with a break to be honest but she's not going to do so on her own; she's too focussed on getting a different answer out of the rocks in front of her to do so.

"Huh. It still gets to me you know, this many-worlds idea, even when the evidence is right in front of me. I never guessed when I left my office for the grand world outside I'd encounter something like this."

"Took me a while to get used to the idea of talking to Users. But I've been coming here more than three years now. You get used to just about anything."

"Three years? So how old were you when you first arrived?" He can't be that old now, not much older than the kids she dealt with as part of her job in the Ministry. "I suppose I will get used to it in time. I mean I grew up learning about magic and science both. If I can reconcile those two things, I can probably learn to get used to anything."

"Nine. You know, equivalent."

She holds back from giving him a hug immediately at the thought. "Oh, dear. I've no idea how you've managed." She's very wary about asking about parents because she's been taught not to in her world of single parents and foster parents and such. "Don't you have anybody at home worried about you? Then again, I suppose if you can go back and forth..." It's probably much easier for him that way.

[OOC:Sorry, my internet has become really dodgy all of a sudden, so I'm trying to get on when I can - if I fall off the radar, so to speak, that's why. Hopefully I can keep on trudging along though.

Enzo almost laughs. "Yeah, no, not three years solid! And my family come here, too. They're not worried. I mean, not more than they are about anything else... Until now, anyway..."

He sighs, then shakes himself out of it.

"Anyway, there's no way I could stop coming here."
