First Entrance! ...wait, what?

When the android walks into the bar, he looks confused for a moment, as if he's just been switched on.

He scans the room slowly—one might almost say suspiciously, if one didn't know any better. He then looks down at his familiar black-and-yellow Starfleet uniform…

And smiles.

He walks over to a seat in the corner, where he can observe the whole room. He'll just be sitting here, arms crossed, feet up on the table.

Uh… anyone care to ask why he's acting so weird today?

Moist notices him because he looks remarkably relaxed and lifts his coffee in a toast, his suit is elegant today.

Lore looks him over for a moment before asking, "What're you looking at?"

It's not said with any particular annoyance-- in fact, he says it in almost the same tone as one would use to casually say, "What's up?"

"Nothing really, you just seem remarkably content."

"I do, huh?" Lore laughs once, thinking this over.

"That might have something to do with the fact that I'm not dead," he says, sarcastically.

Y'know. Minor detail.

"Its always best to not be dead,"

Moist raises an eyebrow, he's almost died a few times.

"It's even better to avoid being murdered by your own backstabbing younger brother," Lore adds, not without bitterness.

"That sounds like quite a story."

"You don't know the half of it."

Lore gets up and walks over to where Moist is sitting, leaning his hands on the table.

"So what is this place, anyway?" he asks. "And don't tell me it's some sort of afterlife, because you can't convince me I have a soul."

"Its an afterlife for some people, but other wise its just Milliways, the Bar at the End of the Universe,"

Moist pushes a chair over for Lore.

Lore just looks at the chair for a moment before sitting down, slowly.

"There's a bar at the End of the Universe." Lore laughs a little, though that wouldn't be the strangest thing he's ever heard.

His gaze returns to Moist. "So tell me. Is there anything useful to do around here?" he asks. "And if not, how do I get out of this place?"

"That all depends on what's part of your definition of useful?"

Then Moist can decide whether he should be respectable or not.

Lore sighs, a little frustrated, and leans back in his chair. That is the question, isn't it? He spent his whole life trying to figure that out, and when he finally did, it was taken away from him...

"I don't know," he replies. "What's worthwhile here? Information? Can I access other places from here?"

"Yes to both. Milliways is full of opportunities,"

Moist allows a bit of his respectable facade to fade as he smirks at Lore.

Okay. Now we're talking.

"I'm listening," Lore says, kind of hoping that Moist will share.

"What's your specialty?"

He's not giving up information without something in return.

You mean besides being technologically superior to humans?

"Leadership," Lore answers. "Making deals with people who are worth making deals with. Getting rid of unwanted... pests."

"You sound quite adept. Alfred Spangler, I create chances for people to invest,"

His smirk is rather smug as he offers Lore his hand, the look in his eyes says, so this is an alias, I can pull it off.

Lore looks at Moist's hand in much the same way as he looked at the chair earlier-- he pauses, then shakes it slowly.

He's not sure yet if this human's going to be of any use to him, but he'll humor him for the time being.

"Lore," he returns, then adds dryly, "The pleasure's all mine."

"Its good to meet you, Lore. What world are you from?"

He'll ask about species once they've talked a bit more.

"I was built on a planet called Omicron Theta," he replies. "But I wouldn't exactly call it home."

He pauses a moment, then adds, "I prefer to travel."

"As do I. Built, how fascinating,"

The information that he's from the Disc can wait a little longer,

"So you must be quite resilient and strong?"

"Yes," Lore replies, rather smugly. "Far more so than humans, in any case."

"That could be quite useful."

"What about you?" Lore asks, looking Moist over. "What's your story?"

"Just a man from the Disc who deals in investments,"

Moist looks neat and respectable today, so much of getting people to believe you is looking right.
