Lore hasn't talked to many people while he's been here—why, exactly, would he want to fraternize with inferior biological life forms?—but he has figured out a few things about Milliways, with a little bit of help. He knows how Bar works, and has a basic idea of how everything's laid out. Also, he was sure to find out the rules of this place, and the consequences for breaking them.
He'll consider that possibility more, later.
For the moment, he leaves his table finally and walks up to the Bar. After muttering a few instructions, he's eventually presented with a key. He takes it and heads up the stairs.
Mere moments later, an identical android in exactly the same uniform walks into the bar, carrying his cat. He asks for the usual meal for his pet, and goes to occupy one of the booths, no doubt one he has occupied before.
There seems to be something… different about him. Nothing tangible, certainly—he is simply sitting there, watching Spot eat, as he always does. But looking at his expression, one might say that he seems more thoughtful, or maybe even somehow tired.
…Or maybe you're just projecting some sort of emotional context onto a being who is incapable of emotion.
It's impossible to say, really.
[OOC: Open until his next post! Subject to slowtime. Oh, and feel free to mention it if your character saw someone who looks just like him walking upstairs...]

"I didn't realize that you had a cat."
no subject
"Yes," he replies. "I have had Spot for a few years, and I occasionally bring him into Milliways."
no subject
"I see. Hello, Spot."
no subject
"I apologize," Data says. "He is not often very sociable."

"No," he answers. There is no apparent emotion behind his voice. "There was, but he is no longer functioning."

The look on Moist's face is just innocent curiosity.
no subject
Moist has a wonderful poker face; Data does not suspect a thing.

"Phaser, I'm not sure I know what kind of weapon that is."

"A beam, so would that be like getting hit by lightning?"

"Hello, Milliways!" an artificial feminine voice offers lightly.
no subject
"Hello, SARAH," he greets back.
no subject
"And you have a visitor with you?"
no subject
"Say hello, Spot."
Spot mews, actually being obedient for once.
no subject
"Did you have to interview to keep Spot too?"
Hellboy was kind of protective.
no subject
"Why were you required to interview for your pets?"
no subject
As if this explains everything.
no subject
"The previous owner was not sure of your ability to care for the cats, then?"
no subject
"I cannot do this entirely by myself, but Zoe and Sheriff Carter help me."
no subject
"A few of my crewmates have also expressed concern related to my ability to give Spot the proper amount of affection. But Spot has not shown any sign that he is deprived of attention."
no subject
"Why do you like him?"
no subject
"I have found it to be both an educational and enriching experience to care for a life form with basic biological needs."
He pets Spot. "Also, I have always wanted a family. I suppose that at this moment, Spot is the closest thing I have."
