Teller is out of the infirmary! Okay, so he still sort of looks like hell, but he's feeling better. He just looks less like he was nearly turned into dog werewolf food, and more he was on the wrong end of an ass-kicking.
He's in his pyjamas, stretched out on one of the sofas by the fire, and he and the fireplace fish are currently enthralled by something the bar gave him. After a little bit of fiddling around with it and the collection of smaller boxes Bar had given him, he managed to get it working, and seems quite impressed with the result.
Penn is very close by, reading the first third of Moby Dick (where the rest of the book is, is anyone’s guess) while he eats a slice of the pizza he and Teller are sharing. In reality, he’s utterly failing at reading his book and is ready to jump up at a moment’s notice to fetch anything Teller might need. Not that anyone needs to know that.

Alex toddles on after him.
"Hello Teller." he says.

It takes a few long moments before he manages to tear his eyes away long enough to greet the pair of them with a smile.

Alex has lost interest during the delay and is now sitting under the table looking at Teller's shoes.
no subject
Teller's probably seen this film a hundred times, but never like this, up close and personal.

Oh, no. Alfred Hitchcock is definitely not for children. He tilts the screen so that it's out of Alex's view, and even lowers the volume a bit.

"I don't think Teller has his mouse today." Guppy says.
no subject
He does have on him.... Well, nothing, as it happens. These pyjamas haven't got any pockets, and after emptying his jacket of all his stuff, he binned it.
When he sat down, he wound up fishing more than a few condoms from the sofa, but those aren't for kids either.

"What's that?" he asks Guppy.
"It's... a coaster." Guppy says, putting it on the table and putting an empty glass on it.
no subject
For now, he goes with Guppy's explanation, and nods in agreement. Yes, it's a very awkward little coaster.
Nope. He's not laughing at all. That's someone else you're hearing.

"c... o... n..." he says, running his finger across the letters.
Guppy, knowing he's about to get asked what it says, gets his keys out of his pocket and jangles them.
"Look Fry, you can play with my keys."
Alex picks up the keys and jingles them.

Don't ever let Teller babysit.

He notices Penn watching them, and points at him.
"Look Daddy, giant!"
Guppy facepalms.
no subject
Penn would not be a wise choice for babysitter, either.

She does have a door now, though. She's just come through it when she spots a certain friend looking rather the worse for wear, and if she didn't react to a sight like that, she wouldn't be Sariel. Cue wince, frown, and purposeful veer in Teller's direction, not necessarily in that order.
"Teller? What happened to you?"
((OOC: Tagging here instead of the infirmary because I spotted this ep only after I dropped chat. Whoops. XD))

Teller looks up at the familiar voice and shrugs lightly.
"Some psycho used him for hunting practise," Penn answers from nearby.
Hardcore sceptics are not the sorts of people who should be dealing with werewolf bites.
no subject
That's not the irritation of the last time she and Penn collided. That's real, genuine shock and dismay. Her gaze is on Teller, probably seeking confirmation. Or denial.
((OOC: Argh, say sorry. I'm alive, honestly I am.))
no subject
"Got him out back," Penn explains. "The other night."
no subject
Penn said 'psycho'. Probably meaning psychologically unstable. Oh dear. "Is whoever attacked you in custody now?"
she's hoping so. If someone's that ill they should be treated, not to mention be kept from attacking anyone else. Werewolf? What werewolf? Ahem.

Of course, he has no way of knowing that it was only a two-day stay in the cells.
Teller seems rather pre-occupied with whatever he's watching. Clearly, Penn has this conversation under control.
no subject
"Do you need anything, Teller?" It's likely not surprising she's asked that question. She's not trying to interrupt whatever he's watching--what is he doing, anyhow?
She's not peering over his shoulder, but to say she doesn't glance at what's got him interested would be a lie.

It's the scene in Psycho when Arbogast is stabbed and falls down the stairs.
He hardly flinches at it. Apparently, he's seen this a hundred times.

It takes her a second to suppress a shudder. She's trying her best to sound composed when she speaks. "That is some sort of projection, isn't it? It's purely fictional?" She really, really hopes so.

... Then she rather pointedly distracts herself by getting a look at the disc inside that first case. Antique technology, ooooh. Significantly less iffy than scary movies. No offense intended, Teller.
After a moment, it might become apparent that it isn't only distraction that's got Sariel's attention on the DVD. She's diverted her own interest, at least part way.
