Ace wanders down the stairwell, looking more alive than she has of late. She still has her notes, but she's also got a couple of clean sheets, and a new pencil - hope springs eternal. Just to show that she can do variety, she doesn't head for her usual booth, and hops up onto a stool at the bar proper instead. The fact that food and drink are more readily available here than at the booth has absolutely nothing to do with her seating choice, nope.
