"Oooh, the weather outside is frightful . . ."
Epimetheus shakes snow out of his hair as he comes through the door and heads for the bar. (Sorry if he catches you with a few flakes.)
"But ba dum dah dum delightful . . . Bar, darlin', Irish coffee if you please, extra whipped cream."
She supplies; he settles onto a stool, still humming, and takes a contented sip.

"Could I get a refill on the tea, ma'am? It's very good."
His mug is refreshed, steam rising off the top.

He gives Don a fairly openly curious look.
no subject
"Evening," Don says. Having someone just be curious is way better than a scream of terror, the way he sees it.

And then adds, a little sheepishly, "Well, anyone with the correct digestive system to process it, anyway."
There are probably people here with different digestive systems. Now he remembers why he comes here.

Forgive him if he isn't very eager to pass himself in for study, even if he'd love to know.

She gives him a faintly curious look as he settles down.

"When we finally kiss good niiiiight," he warbles, "how I'll hate to go out in the stooooorm . . ."
The look he's giving her might be an invitation to finish the line. Or it might be plain old flirtation. Or possibly both, with this guy.

"No."

Uh, metaphorical ones, to be clear.

A beat.
"I don't think we've met."

The line wafts through the air like a stream of smoke, and Coyote promptly appears after it.
And then she sees just who was refusing to sing, and quickly considers vanishing again.
"...Kali! How...nice to see you again."

Morbid curiosity encourages him to stay put for the moment, though.

"I didn't know you two were...acquainted."

Well, nothing even remotely alcoholic. The bottle's lable reads 'Curiousity Cola', and if that ever decides to ferment, well, then you have a problem.
Sadly, that song hasn't made its way across the worlds, though its a bit doubtful that Joris would join in, even if he knew the lyrics.

Hope you don't mind the interruption, Joris.

He glances over, eyes widening for a moment before he focuses on Epimentheus. Then he nods.
"And you're... either Ray or Epimentheus, depending on... depending on whichever you want to be called and if you're avoiding people who call you Epimentheus?"

There's been quick a lot that's happened since then.
"Um. Have you talked to Helen since the last time? Or Jamie? About everything that happened with Them? Since everything is alright now! Just... a lot has happened since then, but if they've told you everything..."
And either one of them could explain things much more concisely than Joris, odds are. But if Epimentheus needs a run-down and reassurance on the demise of Them, Joris can do so.

Besides the bit about the being that's not exactly his brother which he intentionally left out?

"Though they may not have mentioned that Konstam and Vanessa decided to get married, so Vanessa moved back to our world, and she's also training to be a demon hunter as well. And with Them gone, Konstam thinks we can finally start gaining the upper hand against the demons, since They were pitting the demons against us as Their game in our world. But aside from planning and extra missions, and then Vanessa running rampant planning the wedding- which normally she's a really nice person! Just... not so much the weeks before the wedding- and the wedding itself, I really hadn't had a chance to come back here."
(Demons had nothing on Vanessa in a Bridezilla Rampage.)
