Domino is sitting just outside the door to the woods. She's looking over a fishing rod, fiddling with the reel to get some more line on it. A cooler of beers, and a second cooler half-full of ice are next to her. She's gotten so caught up in dealing with the reel, she stopped walking.
Her clothing is an odd mixture. The pants she's wearing lack details, unless she's looking at them directly. They're a dark-ish color, that seems to shift between dark blue and black, as her mind wanders. That's the downside to being an astral projection: you get fuzzy on the details without training.
Her boots, hat, and coat are all quite real, and are heavy and black, fluffy, blue, and possessing earflaps, and plaid, respectively.
This fishing trip is to get her mind off things, and company would definitely be helpful to this end. Anyone care to talk to the lady who's not really there?

His constitutional comes to a halt when he spots the woman fishing. Despite himself he can't help staring, he's still not use to all this weird stuff you see.

She looked at the ma curiously for a second, then shrugged. "You might as well have a beer if you're going to watch me." She said it loud enough to be heard, and opened her cooler, putting another beet on its lid.

And then since they're outside and not likely to get caught he steps closer and takes the beer. "Thanks, it's pretty scorching in Arizona." Of course now he needs to decide what to do with the iced tea.

She doesn't have an extra chair, but the cooler's pretty sturdy. "That's how Arizona works, I think. I can't deal with it at all."
Domino would rather bundle up than be hot. "I'm Domino."

He's seen pale girls before but nothing like this lady.

She takes a lengthy drink. "Mutant. Grab a seat, the cooler should hold."
She doesn't have an extra rod, but if he's okay with it, so is she.

She's not sure where she is right now. It's not important, anyway.
"I hear Queens is kind of rough."

There were just too many people willing to do her work for cheaper there, not to mention her morality getting in the way of taking some jobs.

"I didn't know Chicago have super heroes but I guess it makes sense. Not everything needs to happen in New York."
no subject
"No superheroes in Chicago I know about. I'm definitely not one, myself. Too much work for too little pay."

"Hey. How's it going?"
Recovering from their latest session, he's still wobbly, but settles next to her easily, smiling. It's nice to just have a minute.

As far as she knows. "Guess we finally get to fish together again. It's about time."
She opened his cooler, swiping a sandwich. "How're you?"
no subject
"So far, okay. lamenting the stupidity of my other self." He sat back, rubbing his face, but sighing.
He smiled at Domino. "Better here."

She was curious to hear about Cable's new team. Hopefully things were going good for them all.
no subject
"It's a good team, so far. We're working team exercises. Sam Guthrie is the sub team leader, with some truly good tactical and leading skills, and Syren is his second, with a certain amount of authority issues, but still more dedicated than most."
He rubbed his nose, thinking. "The rest of the team still is working, and a work in progress, but it's coming together, so far."

She eyed her rod, sighing a bit. "I think the fish are hibernating."
no subject
He glanced out, then shrugged. "Fish are a little odd, sometimes, give them time."
no subject
Which made sense, all things considered. That didn't mean she had to like it, though. "Still no clues about the impostor, huh?"
no subject
"No. Other me is completely clueless. Looking at her, thinking on what she has done, so far she has been pretty damn near flawless. A few things that me, here, knowing what i know, might catch, but mostly? Pure pro."
He grumbled. "I hate being played."

"About one and a half months now."
He was feeling truly chumped right now. "Seems like things are pretty quiet right now."
no subject
Of course, she was being pretty consistently drugged, so things weren't terribly clear, anyway.
