Doc is standing near the end of the counter, exchanging a series of napkins and notes with Bar.

He's in the process of packing up a pair of saddlebags with various things. Currently, his goal is to get Bar to give him enough beef jerky to feed an army. But given the protein bars and sandwiches she keeps attempting to provide instead, it's not going too well.

At least he already managed to get enough cigarettes?

"Do you want a first aid kit with that lot?" Guppy asks.

Alex is just behind him, watching.

[scurlock]

"I got myself a little one, and I ain't intendin' on needin' it. Thank you, though."

He turns and looks over at Guppy, noticing Alex behind him.

"How've you been?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Busy with all the flu." Guppy says. "But better now thanks. How are you doing?"

Alex wanders over.

"Hello."

[scurlock]

"Doin' well. Gettin' ready to head back out t'the desert."

Alex gets a smile.

"Howdy, Alex. How're you doin', son?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Desert? Careful out there." Guppy says.

"It's rainy an' the bath eated my finger." Alex says.

"It didn't eat your finger, you stuck it down the plughole." Guppy says.

[scurlock]

"Always do my best t'be careful," Doc promises. "Or at least find myself a door 'fore too long on the other side."

His expression changes slightly as Alex talks about his most recent incident, to that of concern.

"Is your finger all right after that?"

Guppy nods at Doc.

Alex shows Doc his finger. It has a bruise around it.

"Boo-boo." he says, pointing to his finger.

"We nearly had to have the fire brigade out. Again." Guppy says. "But fortunately we got it out with fairy liquid and ice. It was partly my fault for joking that if he didn't get out of the bath he'd go down the plughole."

[will_scarlett]

Will's down the Bar, eating a warm meal and enjoying not being in a fight as the snow melts on his cloak,

"Ye goin' somewhere?"

[scurlock]

"Back out for awhile, hopin' to make some progress towards gettin' some place."

[will_scarlett]

"'ope ye can. 'ate bein' stuck, been that sort o'winter."

[scurlock]

"It's warmer out in my world, too. That'll be nice t'git back to, I ain't gonna lie."

He looks at the damp patches on Will's cloak.

"You been out in the woods?"

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, ended up findin' a fight while doin' some 'untin'. 'avena 'eard back from John so also tryin' to find out what's 'appenin',"

Its worrying to haven't heard anything.

[scurlock]

"Has he been separated from your group?"

He figures maybe he'd gone out on patrol or to gather knowledge.

"Aye, went to find out what 'e could an take out 'is anger on the Sheriff's men. 'avena 'eard from 'im yet."
