She's been sneezing a lot more than usual, which is a little bit odd when she thinks about it. But considering this is her first time in this particular climate at this particular time of year -- maybe there are allergen that Amazons --

Wait, why is she even thinking about Amazons in the context of a little cold? That makes no sense. But if she is going out, clearly she's going to need to be appropriately dressed.

The bar at the end of the universe can be a dangerous place, after all.

It takes her a couple minutes to rustle up some fishnets and a black leather jacket. The blonde wig, however, is going to take a little bit longer.

But if there's one thing Diana -- pardon, Dinah -- is good at, it's winging it. Which is why when Black Canary makes her way down the stairs, she's still tucking a few strands of black hair underneath a more-bedraggled-than-it-ought to be wig.

Cy hasn't seen Canary in a long while. Funny. She's taller than he remembers. "Hi, Dinah."

"Hi," Funny how everything seems fuzzy in her head, making it hard to focus. She can dimly seperate this Cyborg from the one at home, for example.

"Cy, how's it goi... achoo!"

Fortunately her jacket took most of that.

"Aw, no. You have the flu again? You should have gotten a shot." The Titans did a PSA for vaccination, in fact. "I'm fine." And he's not worried, since he doesn't think he can get the flu, between the shot and his odd biochemistry.

"I have the flu," Dinah confirms, a little ruefully. "At least it's the normal flu, this time."

"I hope so. Because when you had the flu last year, it was scary creepy." And she tried to beat him up.

"Gotta say, though, you look kinda...I don't know, different." Not just taller. It's hard to place his finger on it. "I think your wig is a bit crooked."

"Really?"

Dinah rubs her forehead, and finds the edge of her wig, readjusting it over hair that feels a little wrong, come to think of it. Must be the stuffy-head.

"Was it really just last year? It feels longer."

He watches as Dinah adjusts her wig. For a second, he thinks that there's something off about her face. But maybe that's just the stuffy nose.

"Well, a year for me. Time can get all wacky here."

"No kidding," Dinah replies, taking a second to blow her nose.

"Doubly wacky with headcolds. You can't get sick, right?"

"I don't think I can. Not with colds or flus. I mean, I haven't had one since I got my parts. I guess it has something to do with whatever is added to my blood or something." He has no idea about the biofilters in his lungs that his dad added but left off the schematics. "And I guess you have to be more careful, with that Canary Cry and all. A sore throat would be bad on the job."

She'll get the attention of a boy who hasn't even hit puberty as she walks down the stairs. You only see that kind of get up on the most interesting of individuals who can punch you through a brick wall.

"H'lo. You alright?"

"Yeah," she says, in a rather stuffed up tone. "I just have..." pause "the f..." pause "flu - atchoo!"

Nothing breaks.

"...'scuse me."

"....iiiick." He's just going to look up at 'dinah' with a slightly worried expression. "Hope you're not planning to go out and fight crime if you're sick like that..."

"Oh hell no," Dinah assures him, rubbing her head. "Even if I wasn't so fuzzy headed I can't tell which way is up, my Canary Cry is good for covering the bad guys in phlegm right now."

"...you want to get to the infirmary?"

It's not that far away and she looks...REALLY out of it.

"Canary Cry?"

"For the flu?" She shakes her head. "Doctors have more important things than sick little me."

It's not that she's doctor phobic, she just has her priorities screwed up. "Canary Cry is my thing. Superpower. We've not met, have we?"

He seems familiar, but Dinah's sure she's not met him.

"Yeh, but the flu going around is magic and hallucinogenic." Better to just CHECK first, if there's something like that going around.

"...you look familiar." In a vague way, he swears he knows her face from somewhere, and she seems familiar. "Sorry, for not shaking your hand, I'm Tyler Marlocke."

"Yeah, already had it," Dinah says. "This time I'm not hallucinating."

"I wouldn't shake my hand either. Hi, Tyler. I'm sure I know that name."

Someone wearing tights like that, and moving with the kind of confidence? Yeah, they're going to catch Max's attention.

There's an intrigued pair of eyes tracking Dinah across the bar.

Yeah, like that's never happened before.

The tights and the confidence make their way across the bar, order a hot lemon tea loaded with honey and a candy to suck on, and turns against the bar to check out the place.

Yes, she knows she's being checked out. He's going to have to work harder than that.

Dinah turns to him in order to give him a skeptica look. "Should have been faster, then."

Except that Max didn't really look like the kind of guy who even remotely worried about that sort of thing.

"Right," Dinah says, "and it's not because claiming you'd buy a drink after it's already been bought saves you the price of a drink?"

Max actually laughed at that. "I'm not really known for my penny-pinching ways. Hazards of being independently wealthy, you know."

Dinah laughs as well. "Oh nicely dropped in there."

She appreciates how hard men wrk at their pick up lines.
