Ako is frustrated and surrounded by piles of different stuff.
A tangle of light cord partway through half a dozen knots is marking a spot in a French-Japanese dictionary. A warming glass of Pepsi has the straw taken from it and mixed with a small pile of pencils and a sketch pad.
Nothing is sticking.
Not music. Not words. Not physical tricks.
It's like trying to wade through a mental river in cement overshoes.
