Now that the bar is in something less of a chaotic state than it has been for a few weeks...

... there is a circle of chairs. Surrounding food. Delicious food! Free food! Free, delicious, and above all harmless food.

On a plate in the middle are a large selection of chocolates (nabbed in the sales after Valentine's day and cunningly removed from their heart shaped boxes). Or for the more health conscious, a bowl of grapes, sliced into quarters.

And of course, there's a sign.

While the three of them wait for someone to come by, Remy plunks herself into one of the chairs, propping sneakered feet up on the table [and away from the food] after she's snagged a chocolate for herself.

Obviously she wasn't bothered over whatever happened on Valentines.

"How are you doing?" Guppy asks Remy, reaching under the table to grab Coral before anyone can tread on her.

"Sorry, had to bring her with me, Fry was having a meltdown in the living room because we forgot to record 'Birds of Africa' for him."

"It's fine," she reassures him with a grin. "Hello, Coral."

Beat.

"And I've been good. Valentines was...interesting."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Deh!" Coral burbles, grinning back at Thirteen.

Guppy grimaces.

"Same here. Ended up with six stitches. What happened to you?"

If Guppy'll allow it, Coral's going to be plucked from his arms and cuddled now, kplztnx.

"I got hit with something," she replies. "Ended up bedding a goddess, which was pretty good, in my opinion."

Guppy does allow it. So does Coral.

"Oh... congratulations, I think." Guppy says. "I got hit too, and ended up trying it on with Gene Hunt, of all people, got caught up in the fight, and ended up being taken to Casualty by Frogspawn with concussion."

As soon as she has Coral settled, the small child is offered a digit to latch on to.

There's a sympathetic wince at Guppy's tale as she listens, and she shakes her head.

"I guess I was lucky, then. I was already upstairs before the brawl happened."

When the bar door opens, it lets in a burst of spring sunlight and the smell of cherry pies baking.

It also lets in a Sunshine, looking like she'd just gone on break at the coffeehouse. Her hair is still up in a flowery (and flour-y) kerchief, and her apron is smudged with flour and cherry juice (even using an automatic cherry pitter could still be messy).

Having just left a place of cinnamon and chocolate and butter cream and pie doesn't mean she can't be tempted, though. Heavens no.

So there may be a baker sidling up to the table with the chocolates. >____>

As Sunshine sidles up to the chocolate, an amused and familiar voice sounds from nearby.

"You don't have to be sneaky about it, you know."

"Just spying on the competition..." Rae grins. Now she sees these chocolates are store-bought.

No competition at all!

"Hey you."

From her lounged, and foot-propped position at the table, Remy grins brightly at her friend.

"Hey, yourself. How've you been?"

"Better," she smiles. "Thanks for putting up with my sick-as-hell self, by the way, last time I saw you. Apparently illness is one of the few things that can put me well beyond seriously cranky and well into bitchy territory."

"Anytime, darling," she says with a grin. "Though I'm fairly certain I caught a bit of that you had."

Downright weird fairly aptly describes Pavel's life in the bar itself--perhaps not outside it yet, but he'll get there soon. He takes a chair absently, fingering two origami shapes, still a little cold as he carefully studies them; one has graphite designs all over it, while the tiger is plain.

"Hi there, welcome to Life Support." Guppy says, offering him a chocolate.

He offers a hello in soft Russian, looking up. He's not especially childlike, but he has an obviously young face, only on the verge of sixteen or so.

"Life Support?"

"It's a group gathering for people worried or stressed, but anyone is welcome." Guppy says, smiling.

[i_candozat]

"Worried, zat is apt," he says, shaking his head. "Many strange things are happening, lately."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yeah, there's been quite a lot more here than usual. Is there anything particularly worrying you?" Guppy says. "I'm Guppy by the way."

[fiery_ring]

Carlotta is hovering nearby, but is hesitant when she notices Guppy has a baby with him. She sits on Thirteen's side instead.

[numbered_doctor]

Remy looks up at Carlotta's approach, and offers a smile.

"Hey there."

[fiery_ring]

"Hi." Carlotta smiles a little, but it doesn't quite reach her eyes. She looks tired out.

"Can I have a chocolate please?"

[numbered_doctor]

"Sure," she says softly. "It's why they're there."

She notices the tired look, but doesn't say anything just yet.

[fiery_ring]

"Thanks." Carlotta takes a chocolate.

She hesitates.

"I don't really know where to start."

[numbered_doctor]

"The beginning always works," she says, trying to insert a bit of humour into things to help her along.

Then, a bit more seriously: "Just take your time."
