[[OOM: Breakfast in Gotland]]
Teja is sitting by the fireplace, playing his harp. His song is almost cheerful, and the Goth seems unusually content.
It is because he had breakfast with Demeter. In Gotland, with some of his dearest people -- and their children, by whom he was not-so-secretly quite charmed. And some time with Adalgoth, all by themselves.
That makes even a grim Ostrogoth somewhat mellow.-

He thinks he remembers this place from once before but that might have been a dream. In his haste, he spots Teja who has a harp and minstrels understand when you weren't really stealing just running.
Slowly he comes over, trying to make himself look neater but its hard since his feet are covered in mud, his clothing is threadbare and his is red hair is a mess, but he sort of bows, "Sir, could I sit a while by the fire?"

"You may," Teja says, earnestly.

"Thank ye, sir. Is this Nottingham, sir?"
no subject
That is a long guess, but one Teja does dare make, at the mention of Nottingham.

"How do ye know me name, sir?"

He is smiling now.

Though he did think about stealing some warm bread, because his mother would like it but didn't.

She grimaces. "And we had to downsize the stables to make ends meet. Orion is safe of course, and it was only four, but it was sad to let them go."

"No! Soja, sit. Stay put!" she says, tugging on its neck--unfortunately, it's a rather one-sided battle.

"Would you need help, little one?" he asks the girl.
no subject
"Please?" she asks, as far as help goes, she does need someone a bit bigger than she is.
no subject
"Be a good creature, Soja!" he orders it.
no subject
"Stay." She looks up at Teja. "I can't make him stay, though. When I let go he moves."
