Outside, shortly before dinnertime
"Stay -- stay -- stay -- stay -- GO!"
Urquhart clicks his fingers and pointed, and Franz, who has been watching him with a quiver of concentration, finally shoots away and runs to fetch the mangled thing hardly recognisable as a stuffed demon bunny pelt any more, which Urquhart has thrown several seconds ago.
Urquhart is making progress with training the dog that he is quite content with.

"He's getting good at that."

"Oh yes, he's getting very good. You brought me an excellent dog, you know."
Franz was keeping his eyes on the thing.

He walks over and nods at Franz's attention, this is how things are meant to be, relaxing and without any other worries.

"Well, he did the right thing," he says. "Throw that at will, and I'll make him wait before he may run."

"Wait!" Urquhart orders. He lifts a finger.
"Stay -- stay -- stayyyy -- staaayyyyy -- GO!"
He clicks his fingers, and points. The dog races off.
"It will be great to take him along on jobs, eventually," he says to Moist.
Then, he steps closer to kiss him in welcome.

Though he does worry about what might happen with Urquhart and children, that wouldn't do on a job.

Urquhart brings out a short end of very thick, knotted rope from his cloak.
"I've started him on doing fierce-looking tug-of-wars, too," he says.
no subject
Well, Moist doesn't know how long these attacks have been going on and doesn't really want to ask. Its a subject he doesn't know how to talk about.
no subject
"He does," Urquhart says. "And I think he's getting that it's just play."

He takes the pelt and is glad he's wearing gloves since they can to be muddy before rubbing Franz's head.

Franz lies down, looking at Urquhart with great attention.

"Don't let her get under your skin," he says.
Franz gives a little whine.
"Go!" Urquhart permits him, and only now, he runs for his pelt thing again.

He leans back into the touch.
