Mark's getting better but there's always something to do. Its been over a week since William found a door and he's glad to spot one.
He finds a chair near the fire, orders coffee and biscuits before pulling out the dime novel he's reading and does his best to read and not fall asleep.
Maybe after he's had some coffee, he can look around for folks he knows and figure out what needs to be done as spring gets closer.

And if she's pushing him just a bit to fall asleep... well. He is being a silly boy.

Not for as long as he should since someone steps loudly and he startles awake.

Katya hops down, landing softly, close enough to reach out and tip his hat forward again.
"Silly boy."

"Don't do that. What if I'd been armed?"
no subject
"Bah, those little toys?" Anton carries one, she knows, for vampires and werewolves, in case the amulets aren't enough... but she's never really seen the point. Bullets are too easily dodged. "You worry too much."

He pouts as he settles back in his chair, he's just doing what he needs to.

"Learn to duck first, silly boy, before you go throwing things at others."

He has to be a man not a boy.

The chorus of that complaint is now getting repetitious, but it's said anyway.

She's just in a bad mood tonight and he pushes over the biscuits and looks for a rat, his coffee's gone cold.

"Learn how to duck, silly boy, and you won't be." Clearly the normally affable girl is on edge. If she were home, in Russia, this would be about when she'd call up Gesar and ask for some of the long-put-off time away from Moscow for a little while.

"Please join me, sir. My book can wait."

He looks tired. Like he ought find a bed instead of a book and a chair.

William will in time, he likes that here he can read and just have some moments of borrowed time.

He has brough a mug of tea with him and now he takes a small sip from it before continuing, "And how are you?" In his best healer's voice. Calm. Kind. Not taking evasions for answers.

Seeing Elrond drink his tea reminds William that he has a coffee and picks his mug up along with a biscuit.
