Small warnings for language, and brief references to homosexuality and violence. It's like the end of the movie but minus the music and with some extremely fuzzy cosmology but such is life, even afterlife]
Hansel doesn't know whether he's supposed to be an angel or some kind of ascended spirit or what, but the faint halo is pretty fierce--he could really have used it, all those times when storms knocked the power out back in Junction City--and he's getting out of here at last, he's going home.
He rounds past the bar one last time, on his way toward the door (a gleaming white door with a glittery handle, to be precise); he can be intercepted if someone wants to say goodbye, or get a blessing from the angel of the misfits and losers, but he's not staying long.
