Guppy is outside, just outside the building site for the Infirmary Day Room. He has Alex with him, and is showing the little boy how buildings are made.

He's currently trying to explain why the cement mixer isn't alive like on Bob the Builder.

"It's not asleep, it really doesn't talk." Guppy says.

"It's a machine, not a droid," a dark-haired lady from says from nearby. She is leaning against the wall of the bar, and wearing jeans and a faded black tee with some crumbling red writing on.

"Dizzy can talk and move and... and make semen." Fry asserts.

"Cement." Guppy says, trying not to laugh.

[ostro_goth]

"Is it a droid?" the dark-haired woman asks.

Teja doesn't know much about robots and electronics, but does own a very sophisticated (albeit downgraded) Star Wars universe droid.

[guppy_sandhu]

"No, it's a cartoon one on the television. It's not real." Guppy says.

"But I seed it."

"Yes, on television."

[ostro_goth]

"It's just a story," the dark-haired woman says. "Invented."

[guppy_sandhu]

Fry stares blankly at the two of them, then calls out to the cement machine.

"Hello!"

"Maybe that concept is a bit tricky." Guppy says. "I'll try again later."

[ostro_goth]

"It won't talk," the woman tries. "I've got a machine that does, but this one won't."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Can I see?" Fry asks, finally paying attention to the woman.

"Say please." Guppy says.

"Can I see it please?"

"Good boy."

[ostro_goth]

"I'd have to go fetch it," the woman says. "I'd rather be here and watch."

"Lemme guess. Cartoons?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yep." Guppy says. "We're having a bit of trouble with 'real' and 'not real'."

"You said Father Christmas not real, and then he was here." Fry points out.

"He might not live in your world," Enzo counters.

This is perhaps unlikely to be helpful.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yeah, that's what I said." Guppy says. "But the theory of alternate universes is a bit tricky when you're two."

Enzo nods and considers.

"There's no green people where you live, right?" he asks Fry.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Mummy has green on her hair." Fry says.

[a1enzo]

"Yeah, but she puts it there. There's no one who's all green, naturally, like me, right?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"I don't know everyone inna whole world."

Clementine normally gives kids a wide berth - she doesn't really like them. But messing with someone is always fun.

"It's because your dad has no imagination!" Clemmy pipes, in a high voice, in the distance.

[guppy_sandhu]

"No, it's because I don't want to confuse him." Guppy says. "One time I joked that he'd go down the plughole, and he stuck his finger in it to test the theory."

"Maybe he's got too much imagination..." Clementine makes a face at that. "...What's a plughole?"

Does she want to know?

"The little hole in the bath that lets the water out?"

"Ahh," Clemmie remarks. So not what they call it where she comes from.

"Well, kid," she says, bending down to Fry's level, "you don't fit down the drain. And all the magic mushrooms are in the garden."

"The bath bited me and my finger got stuck and Mummy and Daddy had to get it out."

"Aww!" Clementine...still doesn't really like kids. "That's because Thomas didn't go down the drain. He was probably driving around on the...carpet or something." Anything to make sure he doesn't do something horribly dangerous, right?

"Who's Thomas?" Fry asks, looking confused.
