Bobby is actually part Irish, so he's wearing an appropriate t-shirt (or so he thinks). It's somewhat obscured by the sling holding up his left arm, but it still counts.
He's going to sit at the bar and drink/eat green sugary things and watch the crowd. Approachable.

He'd meant to go down to the armoury and had passed through a group celebrating a particularly beautiful afternoon in the meadows. Thus the wreath.
But now he was here instead and that suited him just as well. He notices the predominance of green glothing - and faced with a young man wearing a piece of clothing with writing, he cannot help reading it. Words on clothes are such a strange concept.

"Hey. How's it going?"

"Pretty good. Are you new around here?"

A celebration might explain the clothing.

He doesn't mind the sword; this is Milliways.
"It's St. Patrick's day. It's supposed to be a religious holiday that's supposed to commemorate the death of St. Patrick and people get a small break from Lent--another religious thing--and get to have something of a party. Some people still treat it like it was intended, some people who aren't religious treat it as an excuse to drink themselves stupid and act dumb."

"I wasn't going to say anything about it--this place if full of stuff I've never seen before."

"How's your arm doing?" He smiles at Bobby and looks at the damaged limb, musing about how that could have gone a lot worse.
no subject
He wiggles the fingers dangling from the edge of the sling.
"I went back to the institute and got an x-ray and the bone is totally fine. The professor wants me to wear the sling for a few days so my shoulder doesn't decide to pop back out or something."
no subject
"It...how? You just...iced it up and it was fixed?"

no subject
You'll have to excuse his incredulity...that's a bit much for him to take in all at once. Then again...this is coming from the kid who can float/fly thanks to Cubefall.
"I thought you could only...control it or something?"
no subject
He doesn't exactly hide it, after all.
"Check it out."
A moment later, Bobby is grinning at him in his ice form.
no subject
"Wow. Never saw you quite like that." Beat. "How cold do you get?"
no subject
He shrugs as if it's no big deal.
"That's why I didn't change while I was falling; I didn't want to risk shattering."

Jokes about pulling himself together come to mind as well, but Bonzo passes for the moment.
no subject
He'll break them on his own, or not at all.
no subject
Well, Bonzo is trying to be helpful. He thinks.
no subject
He sounds somewhat offended.
"I'm surprised I haven't broken on before now, to be honest. I mean...since I started turning into ice instead of just making armor out of it. It's not like I don't get knocked around a lot; it's probably because when I'm training or fighting, I'm not in human mode."
