There's an assassin at her usual corner table, the one that commands an excellent view of the bar - which would likely serve her better if she weren't asleep.
Cata may or may not have been up late discussing the finer points of a theory with one of her advanced students. And she may or may not be enjoying this teaching thing a lot more than she ever thought she would.
Whether she'll admit to any of that depends on who you are, but either way, someone might want to wake her up.

Even if she's asleep, she's probably very alert.

Urquhart knows he himself always is.

He clicks his tongue from a few feet away, to see what she'll do.

Oh, she is that; the noise wakes her very quickly, as it's so different from the usual background noise of the bar. Once she's fully awake, she looks about for its source.

"Good morning," Urquhart says.

Cata considers that for a moment. "I suppose it is, at that."

"It's good, as you didn't just wake up dead," Urquhart says, "and it's morning, as you just woke up. You're Cata, aren't you?"

"If I'd just woke up dead, I'd have quite another problem on my hands." Though she would have had to hand it to the student she was talking to.
"I am, yes, though I don't recall if I caught your name the last time we talked."

"Urquhart," Urquhart says. "I met a fellow from your world a bit ago, and found out you're another colleague."

"You met Sam, then?"
Her profession isn't exactly a secret, but so far as she knows, there's no one else here from their world.

"Yes," Urquhart says. "And we talked shop for a bit. Great fun."

[dark_dancer]

"It certainly is. I've been meaning to see if I can talk him into doing a guest lecture for one of my classes."
(She certainly won't waste his expertise on the beginners. They wouldn't appreciate it.)

"Yes, he said you're teaching now," Urquhart says. "I've never taught anybody my craft, but I learned it from a man who'd supposedly been an actual Assassin."

[dark_dancer]

"It wouldn't have been my first choice by any means, but we needed to reform the Guild, and... as time goes on, it's proving to have its merits."
Among other things, the quality of work she's getting from her advanced students is giving her hope for the latest crop of beginners.

"You won't need anybody to teach them about the crossbow?" Urquhart says.

Cata raises an eyebrow. "I believe we've got that covered for now, but if the need arises, I'd certainly keep an offer in mind."

"It might be quite amusing," Urquhart ponders.

[dark_dancer]

"It might, at that. No doubt most of the beginners think it's going to be easy."
And while it does come more easily to her than most hand-to-hand weapons, that only came with practice.

"It's not just the how to shoot, it's the when to shoot," Urquhart says.
