The thaws have come to Nottingham and with them rain and a river on the brink of flooding. Sherwood is wet and unpleasant and there's still not enough news of John.
They know he's held, but little else. The Sheriff seems to be doing all he can to make sure no one knows how to rescue him.
Will finds Milliways as he ducks into one of the cottages where they've been keeping supplies dry and smiles as he pushes back his cloak.
Its been too long since he's seen the Bar and it has a way of making him hopeful even on the darkest days.

"Good eve."

"Eh." Coral gives a little hand wiggle that might, with a bit of practice, be a wave.

"He followed a friend in," he adds. "No idea what his last owners did to make him decide to move out. Or perhaps he took a special shine to my friend."

Will doesn't need to know the details of the friend since he's found Urquhart keeps some strange company.
