Claudia's curled up in her Cubefall chair, headphones on and car-stuff notebook out. Her birthday was a grand success, once Pete stopped trying to cook with Artifacts, and she had a dream-free night; epic win all around.
But now they're back to the daily grind, and she's in desperate need of a break. Even she can only run so much code before it all starts to swim together.

Sam spots her and comes over with a box of parts,

"I think I was able to fix or remake most of the worst parts."

Fortunately, she sees him coming, and so has time to yank her headphones off and catch the end of what he said.
"Oh, sweet! Thanks. That was fast."
(Or maybe it just feels fast to her.)

"I've had the time though a few of them were just beyond what I know how to do."

"Worse comes to worst on those, I can always order 'em at home, but Bar could probably manage."
Either way, her Vegas earnings, wherever she's applied them, should have her covered.

"It was mainly ones that were just slightly more complex than the tools I had. Take a look and see if you think these should work."

Claudia digs through the box. "Well, it definitely looks good. And like the stuff we pulled out of there. I probably won't know for sure until I can put it in, but it's a good place to start."
She's not foreseeing any problems, at least.

"Oh good. I'll be curious to see what it takes to get the car up and running again."

"So will I, really. But I think I can pull it off."
And if she does: EPIC WIN.

"I know it can be done," He's seen more broken things be fixed before.

"And I do appreciate the vote of confidence. Maybe I'll feel less in over my head when I really get the ball rolling on it."

"That's what I find works in projects. Planning helps but sometimes you can plan too much."
